Wow I didn't know any LE around here sold guns off. Murfreesboro PD destroys all of theirs, I just assumed most of them did the same. I've got a Centry wasr 10/63. Runs like a scalded dog with ball ammo, but won't even chamber hollow points. If I had it to do over again, maybe I'd go with something different. buk

Pelican cases suggest you use an electric bread knife on their foam. I've had pretty good luck with that. I've never heard of the hot knife, may have to try that next time. Anybody know how much they run? buk

Did it feel like you were hitting 2 bumps just before it fired? I just bought a used one and that's what it was doing. The other problem was it wouldn't fire more than 2 rounds in a row. I may have to do the same when it gets back from Sig. Thanks for the info!! buk

Coldblackwind and I suffered a horrible drive-by water-ballooning at work today, and unfortunately were not able to return fire. But we did get a plate number. Then my car ran out of gas at one of the 'Boro's busiest intersections. Luckily I was able to roll into a parking lot and get some gas. Didn't even think about it being the 13th until I read this thread. buk

I know exactly who you are talking about. He was in my first pistol class taught by Louis Awerbuck. He told Awerbuck he was starting his own training center and wanted to learn the "right way" to go about it. He truly sucked all through out the 3 day class. I see him at his booth at the gun show about a month later with the EXACT syllabus of classes that Awerbuck offered, didn't even bother to change the wording or type it up seperately. He covered the Yavapai Fireams Academy logo with his and did photo copies. Everytime he shows up on the news a "firearms expert" I just want to toss my cookies. buk
