  1. I started playing the new mailbox game this week. It has been a few weeks since I mailed in my renewal so I get to play. I still have a month before mine expires.
  2. Blackberry (in my opinion) should really only be used with a corporate email exchange and a BES (blackberry enterprise server.) For personal use with the redirection of outlook they are passable but I would pass. If I was primarily using it as a phone I would go with none of the above. If I intended to use it as a palm/personal information manager, I would go with one of the palms I think or maybe the iPhone so I could have all of my music with me.
  3. I am going to do everything I can to boycott everything. Wait, that would mean boycotting boycotts in which case I would be cast in to Dante's 8th concentric circle of hell doomed to forever damnation trying to figure out the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon for every person in the world.
  4. I would love to see someone sue Naifeh for wrongful death or pain and suffering etc. for a family member killed or injured because they were unable to protect them self due to laws that he failed to allow to be voted on.
  5. I remember the olympics being a really big deal every 4 years when I was a kid. Now that they are every 2 years it doesn't seem as big. Not to mention we don't have the "rivalries" that we used to. The miracle Hockey game between Russia and the US. Now they are a snore. Thanks
  6. Well, I don't know about you, but I prefer to do business with a company that actually proof reads their site: Not to mention that one gun is obviously in a "weak" hand so there is that to contend with. .
  7. That is wrong. You shouldn't send them the money. Put in an IOU.
  8. Should have gone Airborn like my daddy. 101 screaming eagles.
  9. Gun control has absolutely ZERO to do with guns and 100 % to do with control. It is a way for the elected aristocracy to gain control over the serfs and vassals.
  10. I agree Mike. They are coming after anything that can kill a human being.
  11. Wish I would have joined earlier. I also probably should have gone Army like my dad, but the Air Force called. Glad he is doing the responsible thing.
  12. Buried and his memorial is sinking in to the Potomac. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/15/AR2007061502436.html?hpid=moreheadlines
  13. They are positioning themselves towards the anti gun crowd saying that the only reason they agree with it is for hunting purposes. They all suck. None of them is going to come out and say that the 2nd is an individual right until the supreme court says so.
  14. My wife and I quite a week apart about 6 or 7 years ago. We wanted to be totally quit before we had kids because we didn't want them being raised around it. We both quit cold turkey, my opinion is that is the only way to go though if you need gum or some prescription to help go for it but "cutting back" never works. I won't lie and say I don't want one every now and then, I do. Then I look at some one smoking and think, wow, how disgusting. I too had to give up drinking for a while because those two things just went hand in hand. Crack a beer light up a smoke, light up a smoke, crack a beer. I now can drink with out thinking of smoking. I still don't like to go to "bars" because they allow it and I can't stand the smell.
  15. Greased pockets - Tennessee Waltz.
  16. What are the membership dues? When are meetings?
  17. Washington D.C. was built by Mason's look at the layout of the streets, the dimensions for the Washington Monument. Our money. Everything is Masonic. Where is that tin foil hat when you need it.
  18. To heck with A/C how many school buses have seat belts?
  19. I will say but this.... I can put a million rounds down range wrong and not do any good in a fire fight or I could put 10 rounds down range with proper training and then use dry fire practice to reinforce that training and come out the victor. Which one is the right way to do it? Granted I think a training class that doesn't actually have you fire a gun is not worth as much as one that helps to teach you the mechanics all the way through to getting follow up shots on target.
  20. Hey I own both does that make me an armed musician as opposed to: Actually a pretty good guitarist.
  21. When I had to dress up for work, people looked at me with my Pistol and assumed that I was a detective
  22. Yes, going to a football game in August is NUTS. The season should start at the end of September and go through to Thanksgiving. But since I graduated they have totally changed the divisions. My high school doesn't even play half the teams they used to and there are more schools in the area now.
  23. I agree it is not the governments job to baby sit our kids. We will have to agree to disagree on this topic as I think year round schooling is a good idea. My kids are home schooled anyway (mommy is a great teacher) and they will be doing school work year round. At least until they hit high school then we will see what they want to do.
  24. Actually, Dixie, I don't have miscreants (my children are active but then again they are 3.5 and 2 so it is expected) and I don't view all children as miscreants I am mainly speaking about the population of children that get in to trouble because there is nothing to do. I can recall many summer days being bored to death because there are only so many times you can go to the pool not to mention there are friends that you have in school that you don't get to see over the summer because they don't live near you. Most schools let out in early May (due to the lack of A/C that our wheel tax was supposed to provide) and don't go back until mid August. So I guess the actual amount of time is 3 months. We also didn't get near the number of "breaks" that kids get these days. I don't recall a fall break, a 3 day Thanksgiving break, Christmas break has gotten longer. Many parents suffer hardships because they have to find some one to watch their children during the summer months. Parents don't get 3 months off from work when their kids are at home. Sure there are summer programs but these come at a cost. Most schools spend the first week or two getting students back in to the study mode. This leaves less time to actually teach new things. Sorry if I offended you, I am sure your son works hard as did I once I was finally old enough to get a job, but crime does increase during the summer because many children are left with out supervision.
  25. Glock 19 either IWB or Fobus. STILL haven't made it to the range to fire the XD so I don't carry it, once I have I may get a holster and start.
