  1. "High recoil caliber rating—tested with .375 H&H Magnum for 1000 rounds." I think it can handle a .308  , I am really curious about how well it puts up with a beating. After watching the Daniel Defense torture test and seeing that Aimpoint micro fall flat on its face, I am sold on Aimpoints reliability, just not so much the price, lol. I might get a Strikefire and ran it through the motions, Vortex claims alot with their specs and pending what kind of warranty it has who knows, it might just be a competitor for the Aimpoint. Just have to test it first and see I guess.
  2. Ah, yes. Wasn't actually looking to sell it really so much as bragging, lol. ;)  It has a black Magpul handguard, BCM full auto bolt, Troy Ind Folding rear battle sight(tan), and a BCM/VLTOR Mod3 (large latch) Charging Handle. I gotta get 1k for it pardner.
  3. Not if you have a complete Bravo Company Mid-16 sitting by its lonesome...
  4. My first AR was build, it was a Spikes ST-15. Truly a nice build, after I put an actual Spikes kit into it.
  5. Welcome to the forum cousin.
  6. My apologies, that's for the SR556. Still a good price for either of them since they're both in the same price range.
  7. Welcome back to the hills cousin. I know where a Ruger SR556 is sitting for $1100. Food for thought.
  8. My mom had chemotherapy and has about 1/4 the strength she used to, so charging/clearing is somewhat difficult for her. She has small hands so it led to her getting a smaller weapon, Beretta Nano to be exact, which led to me getting an FNX-9, so that if the Schumer ever hits the fan we have a common caliber.
  9. I know a guy with one for sale NIB for $1100.
  10. Outstanding, thanks much pardner. I can't wait to take the class, just gotta save up funds for it is my big thing, plus losing weight since I started dieting and working out will help too so as to not be an armchair commando, lol.
  11. I am saving up for the Way of the Rifle class to take later this year or possibly early next year. Was just curious if there were any alumni's here in the forum. But anyone else, please don't suggest other trainers such as Suarez as I am unintersted having investigated all local options.
  12. Welcome to the forum cousin. Indeed, the thickest snow we saw in my AO was about an inch, that lasted about two days. Summer here pretty much started about 2 weeks ago, not officially mind you but it's now consistently in the 80's. Ditch the heavy snow gear and make way for one of the few free states left!
  13. Please bear with me, I'm currently working out the story bugs for chapters 2 and 3. I'm going to start investigating here soon as to find a publisher that might accept my work. But you lot will be my first critics. ;)
  14. :bowrofl:      :bowrofl:
  15. Welcome from the hills cousin. Can't go wrong really, I mean, you'll be evading hostile lands and headed to constitution territory. My dad is from that area and grew up there.
  16. That sounds naughty, I expect some gun porn soon.
  17. A buddy of mine is inquiring and I hadn't heard of them before today. Was curious if you guys had heard anything OR had experience with em. Thanks all.
  18. THAT, is bull honkery as I work for a Toyota dealer and when they break, it will break your bank BUT comparatively, yes, they're much more reliable than most GM products. But I digress... VEPR's are indeed bad@$$.
  19.   Technically the same can be said about most AR manufacturers considering that they all contract out for their parts... yeah, I even trust Romanian kits as well, but I just don't trust anything with a Century stamp, they're like old school Taurus(and some new school) for AK's.
  20. Gotta read on m4carbine.net where the guy defended his position with poor grammar and very much retarded "sell the customer" way of thinking.
  21.   Why not an AR with a CMMG conversion kit? It works and you get the light weight plentiful .22 with the .223 combat capability.
  22. I about fell out of my chair when I saw this pic... Yeah, REAL quality product here...
  23. Once I get me a water tight truck box I'll be keeping me weapon in it at all times, after some heavy modificationss to the box of course...
