2.
I may be door dumb, but what good is a quality door and lock without a solid door jam?
I am in the door business, this is a very good point. If you are going with an inswing wood jamb, the best lock in the world will do nothing. The job will split easily when forced open. For security you need a metal frame outswing. Not foolproof, but much more secure. If you do stick with a wood jamb, find the biggest strike you can and use then longest screws you can...
I have used a similar product to this in the past with very good results. it totally stopped the rust from growing and held up for years. 4. Nope, I would respect his right to refuse me. Then walk down the street and go to the gun friendly baker. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
5. This is what I don't get...if religion and sexual orientation are both protected classes, why does sexual orientation rights trump religious beliefs? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
6. I really never thought I'd be the one to be talking about how great things used to be! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
7. So I can sue if I don't want to wear a shirt or shoes and don't get served now? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
8. Yeah, kind of a sad state of affairs... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk
9. So is the right to bear arms (2A)...so what would be our chances be in a lawsuit be if demanded to carry in a posted business if they had anti gun beleifs? Why are these NEVER a 2 way street?
10.
What law would that be?
1 they made up and I knew they were wrong and I even said they were. That's why I was mad. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
11. Last time I bought at academy they told me it was against the law to buy 2 guns at the same time, or within 1 week for that matter. I sent ahead and bought my "1 limit" since it was $50 cheaper than anywhere else, but I was not happy I they wouldn't let me buy another gun I was looking at. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
12. I have farm bureau, when my wife backed into my truck, the deductible was less than if she had hit someone else sin e we owned both vehicles and were on the same policy. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
13. What minister cannot express his opposition to gay marriage right now from the pulpit? From any denomination? AFAIK, a minister is only held to account by his congregation and any larger affiliate (Southern Baptist Convention, Catholic Church, etc). Certainly not by the government. What church is forced to perform gay marriages? And what church is forced to hire anyone they don't want to? - OS Used to be that churches or organizations they paid for did not have to supply contraceptives to employees that knew what the church believed. Not so much anymore. Slippery slopes...not unlike private businesses that can be sued for not wanting to provide services for homosexuals...I.e. The b&b in Hawaii and the baker out west that got sued. Give an inch take a mile... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
14. Apparently he's gotta take care of family first! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
15. Nice! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
16. Again, I was misinformed. In TN it does not matter...other states it does. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
17. This has zero to do with being able to carry there. Tennessee does not acknowledge "bar" as a category. It's simply a restaurant with a liquor license at that point and is still subject to the same requirement that it be posted as anti-carry if the owners intend for you to be there unarmed. Sorry, after more research, I was wrong. I was going by what I had been told in my HCP class. Carry on! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
18. I have never been there, but if its like most comedy clubs I bet they are close to the %51 alcohol revenue threshold. Most clubs require minimum drink orders that(with many ppl buying more). I would say that is close since ticket prices are fairly low. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
19. Was at lc this a.m. and didn't see any .22lr. They did have various .40 .45 and a few others. Even had some 380 the other day, but not today. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
20. That's the way ours went except I finished fingerprints and DMV 2 days before her and she still got hers sooner. I assumed it was because she had had a complete background check a year or so ago for a job. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
21. Idk, gonna try the brass monarchs this weekend. Tried some hornady critical defense last night and they chambered just fine. I would still like to know why I would get 2 different casings from what appears as 2 of the same boxes from monarch. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
22. OK, so I recently bought the P3AT and have been scrounging up ammo where I could find it. Finally got to the range on Saturday. I took with me some fiocchi 95 grain and monarch 94 grain. Fiocchi had brass case and monarch had nickel case. Fiocchi fired 50 flawless rounds. Went to the monarch and every 1st round would not want to chamber and twice the 2nd round would not chamber. I had already went through the Fiocchi so I could not compare the 2 at the range. So, tonight I bring out a box of each to compare. 1st thing I notice is this box of monarch had brass cases! They did seem to be a little longer than the Fiocchi...I did buy the monarch at different times (1 box limit), but it seems I need to stay away from monarch if I don't know what I'm getting. I knew this was rebranded stuff, but I assumed they got it all from the same place. I am going to try the brass monarch this weekend and see if it works better. But has anyone had problems with nickel monarch in their p3at? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
23. Got mine today, so a little over 3 weeks. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
24. I don't know... it worked great for us...kept us informed daily. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
25. Yes, we both registered online. We got emails back that had the number in the email. As far as quickness, when I went to the DMV after the class it showed up on the website within hours that that step had been completed. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
