CLR eats blue. CLP is good to go.

Yep, they made a big deal about him wearing his bullet proof vest and never going outside because of how dangerous it was for him. I believe it was proven to be staged.

Seriously guy. Prison is supposed to be a bad scary place you don't want to go. A lot of the things that are "allowed" to happen in prison are due to the fact that the country club mentality of the left have turned prisons into adult daycare's. You keep saying that prisons function is to separate convicts from society. That may be one aspect but not the only one and it is a bit naive description of prison. Jail is a much better suited to you definition. The other aspects are punishment, rehabilitation (obviously works ), and public safety. Personally rehabilitation, if any, should come after prison but that's another debate. Personally I find my kids respond better to correction when I'm not giving them candy and free TV when they're in timeout.

Straight out of the Justice Dept. -
Not such a big deal with .45 because it is a low pressure round even in +p. However fully suported chambers become very important in .40, .357, and 9mm +p+. 40 S&W particularly. Those seem to be the ones with kabooms when they happen.

I think he was being sarcastic due to the fact that the Obama admin keeps telling us that conservative TP are the real threat. -

Just surprised this is the first one I've heard of. The way they are villianized I won't be surprised to hear of more. Now where are those who defended the home protest not so long ago? -
Either the SR9 or XD, but not the P250. The P250 is rather bulky and the trigger, while smooth, is very long. I like the compactness, egos, and capacity of the SR9. It will also be much more enjoyable to shoot at the range, which means more practice time. It is very thin for carry and the triggers are much improved over the first release. The XDsc is a proven gun with a lot of aftermarket support (triggers, sights, holsters, etc) and is rock solid. It would be my first choice of the 3 a strictly EDC, although if you plan to shoot it a lot I prefer the benefits of a full-size like the SR9.

Kinda like the whole Polar bear issue. Never mind there are more now than ever before, we're just going to leave them on the endangered species list. Canada's growing polar bear population 'becoming a problem,' locals say

Factually wrong, but it is the propaganda put out by the Sea Shepard organization. . Correct. It is not illegal. Of all people 2a and hunters should understand quota hunts, preservation and the misleading propaganda of leftist environmental wackos.

They're eco-terrorist, liars, and pirates. The same bunch that spike trees in the northwest, beat park rangers, and bomb logging roads. Funny how some of you guys who are always whining about how you don't want others beliefs forced on anyone else are all the sudden fine with it as long as it's the Japanese. Those guys are idiots and I have no pity for whatever befalls them. I'm just surprised the Japanese have been so restrained.

KCI 100 Rnd Drums vs Beta C 100 rnd drums
Smith replied to ~48_South~'s topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Don't know about their 100 rnd drum but their Glock and AR mags I've tried have been awesome. Keep in mind KCI is a government producer so their stuff is made for their military and their military is in an active war zone . Good stuff. -
I really lkke those. After being spoiled with me STG556 I want me an RFB. All other long guns just feel awkwardly balanced now. The few folks around here really complaiined about the trigger but everywhere else I've read about them people really compliment it. Go figure.

I'm rather surprised at the sentences. Seems rather lenient to me. As to the tattoo's I'm pretty sure he'll get all kinds of alteration in prison.

Used to love sports and even more so college sports, but the circus has fully turned into the freak show. Stuff like this and the Lebron thing is just beyond the pail. They couldn't hold down a real job if their lives depended on it and that's a proven fact. Yes the whole system is corrupt from top to bottom and the fans, boosters, schools, players - all of them are to blame. Lebron talking about sacrifice of only taking 85 million. CJ whining about only 2 million after one sophomore year. UT players committing assault, armed robberies, ect. talking about how hard life is for them... I had to work two jobs, support a wife and keep my grades up (without an athletic "tutor" BTW) to make it through college. These guys make me sic! Rant off.

Philip said in another thread he has a G19 for $400 OTD! Heck of a deal.

You'd actually have 3 guns in one - 9mm, .357 SIG, and .40

Could this be true the NRA plans to endorse Reid In Nevada
Smith replied to JG55's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
just realized last months American Rifleman had a big article about the Nevada range. Looks like they were getting out ahead of the story. -
It is Federal law that background checks/records ect have to be destroyed within 72 hours (since 1998). It was a big deal when Ashcroft discovered that Janet Reno had been keeping records for months and even years citing LE issues in violation of federal law. Even the NRA filed suites against Reno in 2000 over the issue. NRA v. Reno, 99-5270, Second Amendment, Gun Control and Dave Kopel & Glenn Reynolds on guns & terrorism on National Review Online So question one is - yes question two is - ? i guess they are using the honor system.

It's just a matter of technique. As you know the AK rocks into place and it should only take a little bump on the bottom of the mag to get it to fall. It is definitely different than an AR mag change in nearly every aspect. I actually like the AK method a little better for a variety of reasons. One if an AR mag doesn't drop free due to dirt or some other factor it is more work than an AK to get back into action. Second, the AK method is fool proof and works every time. Third, AR mags are "fragile". Dumping them on the ground is liable to break something important. With the AK mag you just pick it up and go, It'll work. The only real drawback, in ideal settings, is a little more gun movement with the AK than AR. In combat I'd say the advantage goes to the AK. For range or light shooting the AR is easier. Bottom line is it is just a different technique. If you were an AR trained guy, it'll take a little more to get used to. BTW - I think the AK mag release gizmos slow down proper mag change procedure. Hit the lever, bump, rock, and shoot.

G19's are perhaps the most sought after of the Glock line. Not many shops need to try very hard to sell them if they can get them. That being said I would give Guns and Leather a try if you need it right now. I bet they will give you a fair price. Other than that you can usually find one, if you are patient, in the WTS adds on the various forums from $425-$500.

Guns in Employer Parking Lots Bill HB 3141
Smith replied to waynesan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yeah, but there have been numerous rulings and AG opinions that ones vehicle is the owners personal property and thus can not be infringed upon simply due to location. For instance just because a vehicle is on a public road does not mean that it can be entered and searched by the police without relatively the same guidelines as your home.
