Wow that's harsh Mike, but I gotta agree she's not all that pretty. I imagine if she didn't have the movie thing she'd be just an average girl. Now Julia Roberts is the one I really don't get.

Everyone knows the old saying about when it rains it pours. Well, it's been that way lately. Last week when to get the brakes on my 60k Explorer serviced and low and behold the front hub assembly decides to lock up. Mind you I had just replace the other one not 3 weeks before! So needless to say $200 turned into $600+. Sold my only carry gun to stay level. My third backup job has become my main job, making 1/3 of what we used to make and even then it wasn't enough. Well last night I discovered a new saying. When the hot water heater breaks it REALLY pours! The hot water heater (in the attic - never a good idea!) decide to pop. 3 am, 40 gallons of water, and a collapsed kitchen ceiling later and I got issues. All that to say it could've been worse. My 3 month old has been sleeping in the kitchen (portable crib) directly under the spot where all the water SHOULD have come through. Well, all that water decided to travel about 4 feet over from where the heater was leaking and then poured on the floor. Baby stayed bone dry. No sooner had we awaken and rolled her out of the kitchen the ceiling falls in! Now I know some don't believe in God and consider everything coincidence, but I don't. It makes no sense for the water to flow uphill away from the main leak (where baby was sleeping) and for the ceiling to hold up just long enough for me to wake up and move her before it all fell in. Turns out insurance is going to cover it all and we will even be able to catch up some other expenses and save a little in the meantime. Miracles happen. Shouldn't be able to make it on our income but we are. Yes we have had to do our part, but I am so glad God is watching over. He has always provided. Maybe not what I wanted, but always what we needed. I know a lot of guys here are struggling like I am and I have to admit I was about done with things last night not knowing how we would make it. Just thought i share and hope it can encourage some. Lesson learned? Don't grumble about the today's manna. Matthew 6:25-34

Federal Judge Nukes Arizona Illegal Immigration Law
Smith replied to Oh Shoot's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Good observation, however there is a major difference between the two. The former was between soveriegn citizensof the us and the AZ issue involes citizens not under or protected under the constituion. In the AZ case right is on the side of the state this time and most people know it. -
Ingeniously cool waste of time! Very interesting

True, I was quick-reading that post and mixed it with another one that said otherwise. Very true.

Federal Judge Nukes Arizona Illegal Immigration Law

That why it would go very badly for the Fed. People would clearly see that the Fed is willing to muscle up and enforce their will on a state of the union but not on illegals from another country. Which is exactly what AZ should do. It would be the ultimate call out. If the feds tried to enforce it when they aren't enforcing other laws, they would loose on discrimination suits alone. Not to mention they could argue bias in not enforcing sanctuary cities while enforcing on AZ. The Feds could not win on any front, especially not the public opinion front. Let's see if they have the nerve. -
I've seen this now in a couple post. There is NO duty to retreat in TN.
-
Not exactly. IIRC brandishing in TN means displaying it in a threatening manner. Strictly speaking pulling you shirt up to display it is brandishing (without an HCP). Problem is it is all interpretive and you never know how the cop or judge would view it. Keep your mouth shut and only show or pull you weapon if you are also going to pull the trigger.

Guns and Ammo had a special Bullpup issues recently that had a lot of info on all the new Chinese assault rifles. This one is from last year. Updating The Type 95 | Tactical

Back when cartoons had it all! It was amazing how complex and yet simple those cartoons where. They often dealt with heavy political/social issues, yet done so a child and parent could watch them together and enjoy equally. Not to mention it is how most people were exposed to classical music. Wish they made them like that again!

Reminiscing in another thread got me thinking about shows I used to watch. Then Hulu decided to add all 4 seasons of Airwolf. I forgot how awesome that show was! The intro alone has to be one of the best of all time and the noise the helicopter made was just soooo cool. Just made the theme my ringtone. Season 1 still has to be the best with it's darkness and all. After that it started getting a little more A-Teamish (awesome show as well). Enjoy!

KT is selling a free floating HG picatinny rail for $40 on their website. However, there are no pictures and I've never seen one. Kel-Tec - Store

I too am really intrigued by the RFB, especially since getting rounds through my STG556. Now everything seems really long and front end heavy.
-
Don't get that either unless it is simple name recognition or Dems are influencing the primaries.

Pretty neat to get it on video.

Don't pull the trigger.

OS, I agree there are problems with Fedex but the reality is UPS is requesting our money to do business which essential will turn it into a government business. Maybe the regulations should be more along the lines of what Fedex is using instead of UPS. Or maybe the government should get out of it all together. However all the above is not really the issue. The issue is the Obama administration and the unions see a great opportunity to get their greedy hands on a decent business in order to exploit it. There is no way this will improve anything UPS or Fedex related.

should physicians routinely inquire about guns?

Common thread - Good ideas completely screwed up by government. -
Well FedEx isn't unionized so there is hope. However, if they get a hold of UPS then they will use it to bailout the USPS and destroy them both. It would make DSL look great!

I understand the law on face value and know where you are coming from. However, I have encountered one to many cases of Dr doogood or similar person make a false claim or "judgment" call (mostly spanking issues) only to have the good parents name, reputation, and relationship with their child forever damaged. Not to mention that in abuse claims it is guilty until proven innocent. FYI - I had an aunt who was a DCS case worker and she had the power to take any child, no matter how small or unfounded the claim, until an investigations was concluded. Let's just say i love my aunt but she couldn't manage her own life much less somebody elses. -

Good law. However, it will be inconvenient for AZ residents to travel to other states.
