This is one I'll regret. Its one of my favorites but it just sits in the safe looking good. It's a shooter! Hungarian Hi-power 1:1 clone. 7 -15rnd & 1-10 rnd Mec-gar mags. Privateer leather/shark trim holster. $Sold Nashville area. Would consider trades on a nice 3" or less .357. - C&S Extended Slide stop - C&S wide combat trigger - C&S SFS Safety System: basically you rack the side and push the hammer forward. Once you flip the safety, the hammer sets. Really cool FN system. Also, zero hammer bite - VZ Recon Grips with stainless hex head bolts - BH Springs Solution two piece buffering guide rod - Full optimize spring set by BH Springs Solution.

I had looked at the High Tower and the Aklys. I was seriously considering the High Tower but I didn't like the look of the 25nd mag and it is fairly large (height wise). Heard good reviews though.

Yes. Because the recoil is coming in sideways and slapping into that spot instead of inline into the palm of the hand and arm. Seen it before.

I agree with the bipod. It's QD for that very reason, but I left it on for the picture. I'm also going to try an mlok side mounted bipid and see how that works. I need the bipod for taking care of the groundhogs through my kitchen window. It's actually very easy to shoot offhand. Balances very well.

This does a better job putting it into visual. Go to 5:46 for your particular question. https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=397&v=vmnLA2DuYJs&embeds_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&feature=emb_logo

Yes, a way over tight grip. Using a two hand grip, you want to be pushing your right hand into your left hand and your left hand pushing back on the right hand. You want a firm but light grip with your right hand. You can tell by dry firing. With just your right hand, dry fire like you would at the range. I believe you will see (with an over tight grip) when you squeeze the trigger, the torque from your trigger finger is pulling the gun left and down. You want you your trigger finger coming straight back into the gun. Trigger should be to the left side of the trigger finger first knuckle.

I thought that too but after handling it, it makes sense. It keeps it very compact and accentuates it's portability. I actually prefer it to a grip in this platform, now that I have it.

I'm a bullpup fan and when I saw the opportunity to get the new Desert Tech Trek-22 for the Ruger 10/22, I jumped. I understand it'll be a love or hate, purely on asthetics alone, but I love it! It's super compact, balances extremely well, losses weight over any other stock, and retains (if not accents) my Hornet trigger. All my upgrades are retained. A couple drawbacks: you'll have to take the stock shell apart to deep clean and you have to remove the optic to remove the clam shell. Not hard just a thing. That being said, it's easy to access for general cleaning and easy to reassemble. This is my final setup. That's an 18" bull barrel.

Not the drum mags due to the mag well. The tower is not tall enough, but it will take stick mags

Yes, internal Rem choke threads

Like new, never shot. Got two of these, so one can go. I was in the Saiga 12 game since they were new and this is a better product. It's been inspected, cleaned, and put in the safe. 3 position gas plug, 2 - 5 rnd mags (uses Saiga style mags), uses Rem chokes, hinged railed top cover, and includes a JTS stock adapter. The adapter let's you use aftermarket Ace style stocks. Sold, Nashville area. No trades

As an update, I went with the Burris RT-6 1-6x24. It was far superior to the PA 1-6x24 ACSS. The PA was great till I compared it head to head with the Burris. The Burris I can truly use as a 1x. The PA had a lot fish eye distortion and the 1x was noticably off.
