  1. Got my Tim King Stage II 1,000 HP built 6L90 yesterday along with the Circle D LS Series Pro Billet Triple Disc 3200-3400 stall. Can’t tell much by the outside of the trans, but there it is. Lots more to come!
  2. I test drove and almost bought this mosaic black ZL1. Just couldn't work out a deal. https://www.carlblackchevy.com/inventory/new-2018-chevrolet-camaro-zl1-rwd-2dr-car-1g1fk1r66j0166972
  3. Now that’s impressive! Two ZL1 1LE’s! I’m probably going to get a ZL1 1LE with the 10L90 in a year or so.
  4. Trans started slipping, so... I got a Stage 2 Tim King / TK Performance built Cadillac CTSV 6L90E that is 1,000hp capable. A custom Driveshaft Shop 3.5” Aluminum 1 piece DS. Circle D 3400 Pro III Billet multi disc converter. BMR Driveshaft Safety Loop Black Hammertone Should be a nice setup that will hold power and last if I can find a good trans tuner. Working on getting larger trans cooler, trans mount, and trans cross member. 2012 CTSV 6L90 trans I bought for the core. Really wanted to keep it as a spare since it was a good condition 42k mike takeout, but wanted that $1500 core charge back!
  5. With 3.9” pulley it made 723rwhp @ 14.5psi on 93 pump. Timing dialed back to 13 degrees peak for daily driver reliability. Shop said e85 will be around 800rwhp.
  6. Stage II ProCharger D1X The intercooler AEM widebands welded in on Kooks 3in race cat and cat delete pipes. JRE trans dipstick, and other trans work done. DSX Auxiliary fuel system plumbed and on.
  7. Any fuel pump can fail. Even the stock in-tank pumps and all their after-market replacements. I lost a motor to a 100 shot of nitrous over a bad in-tank pump once. That said, it really is a none issue. Most superchargers and nitrous kits come packaged with a similar pump. I've seen a lot of cars running these DSX setup with zero issuess. One is a friend of mine with a 10.3 sec Cadillac CTSV at 4400lbs race weight.
  8. Got my DSX aux pump kit yesterday.....
  9. They will lose this one in court IF the court follows the law. They're trying to say it fires more than one bullet per pull of the trigger in their new ruling. We all know that is not true. Even the former BATFE Analyst who made the ruling on them making them legal to begin with says the one way to ban them is congress to make a new specific law banning them. Meet One Of The Analysts Who Determined That Bump Stocks Were Legal (HBO) And even if they ban them they still can't stop bumpfiring... Bumpfire without bump/slide fire stock...
  10. That 11.7 is slow for my combo. Found out my friend didn't seal the intake rocker arm bolts causing it to suck oil in the cylinders. Plus I got a crap MAF only tune by a friend of his. We were running less timing than a Cadillac CTSV on a n/a L99 +E85 and still getting knock retard. It pulled timing and all so much that power on the dyno dropped after 5600 rpm's instead of climbing to 6,800 where the cam peaks power. Not to mention, I left at idle, on a all season tire with TC on.... no DR's or slicks. So don't worry, n/a next year it would have been much faster. Especially on a sticky tire. But I'm not waiting for the new baseline n/a run because I'm going ProCharged.
  11. Stage II ProCharger D1X came in... Still waiting on the DSX Auxiliary Fuel Pump kit Looking for a good boost gauge. Can't seem to find any info on which is the best. Got all the packing out to check off the parts list... 110lbs worth of junk in there according to the shipping label.
  12. Well, best 1/4 mile pass I got was 11.7 @ 118 mph. That was on a all season tire, leaving at idle with traction control on..... Car #83 Still had issues with the home brewed tune. I plan to take it to a real dyno tuner soon as I get my new Stage II ProCharger D1SC instaled. If I can get ahold of the shop I ordered from in time on Monday and it's not too late, I'm going to upgrade the head unit to the D1X. 10's sec 1/4 mile runs, here I come!
  13. We still have Nosler..... Not that I've used them for any real competition, but I did use them for hand loads for hunting in my .270 Winchester.
  14. Dyno'd today. 442 whp. There are issues with the tune (see the dip in the power curve) and possible the fuel pump running out of volume. So I expect to make closer to 500 whp once I go back after some more tuning and all. Fwiw, this combo is maxing out a ZL1 fuel pump....
  15. Ran the new setup and got a 7.74 @ 91 mph in the 1/8 and 11.9 @ 116 mph in the 1/4. Stock, they're 13.1 sec cars at just over 4,000 lbs with driver in car and at least 3/4 tank of fuel. I'm 210lbs and 3/4 tank of fuel, the scale was at 4040lbs. Tried stalling up, but got bad wheel hop on the street tires, so started leaving at idle and got my best 60ft's and ET doing it that way. Tried turning traction control off, but it just lit the tires up through 1st 2nd and 3rd gears, so I gave up on that run. Need a DR or slick to stall it up and turn off TC. Last issue is the trans tune. On up-shifts, you can't tell in the video, but it was over revving and bouncing off the rev limiter at just over 6,800 rpm's. My MPH and rpm was set correctly, but during the shift it would over rev while shifting. Weird, but working on ironing that out now. I work out those issues and it should be a good bit faster. FWIW, guy in right lane had similar mods and was on a DR's.
  16. She's done and waiting on a tune. Again, un-tuned, but here is an idle clip:
  17. I would not even take that out of the garage right now. With as busted up as the roads are, it'll surly get some rock chips. My SS got pelted one day. Nicked the hood stripe, chip in the windshield, chip on the outer drivers side pillar...
  18. ID850’s ZL1 fuel pump Got the Circle D 3200-3400 RPM 2B Converter but didn't snap a picture: https://www.texas-speed.com/p-4365-circle-d-specialties-high-perfromance-gm-6l80-ls-torque-converter.aspx Everything is being installed now and will be tuned shortly after.
  19. Well, I got a day off yesterday, so I finally felt like I had the energy to do something. I started swapping my valve springs and retainers off the TFS heads and put the Texas Speed PAC springs and TI Retainers on. The valve seals looked the exact same, so I didn’t bother swapping those since they’re brand new anyway.
  20. I have a few revolvers to share with you. Some TC's. One without a scope is a 454 Casull. Just got bored and decided to snap some pictures with the iPhone.
