  3. http://fox59.com/2016/01/19/man-arrested-for-having-firearm-at-plainfield-high-school-during-forum-on-cyber-threats/ PLAINFIELD, Ind. (Jan. 19, 2016)-- Police say a man was arrested Tuesday at Plainfield High School during a community forum. Ronald Kendall, 37, of Avon was taken into custody after being escorted from the forum. Police found a firearm on his person. Initially, Kendall told police the gun was not loaded. It was later discovered that the gun was in fact loaded. He was arrested for possessing a firearm on school property. He was cooperative with police. "It is a level 6 felony to have a firearm in a school building," said Plainfield Police Cpt. Jill Lees. Hundreds of parents gathered in the auditorium of the school to hear the latest from federal and state authorities on the progress made in investigating cyber threats made to Plainfield schools and businesses. Those in attendance were not checked for weapons as they entered the auditorium. The FBI said they have served 200 subpoenas related to the threats. Citing difficulty in getting information on the suspect's IP address, the FBI said the investigation could go on for weeks or months still. Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Instigators said the suspect is concealing their identity and taking measures to hide the IP address. "I would rather have an amount of frustration, versus this guy here in the same room with me, with a gun," said one parent. After a parent asked why those in attendance weren't searched before the meeting, state police said the suspect may be at the meeting, and they didn't consider the suspect a threat. Parents brought up other issues including students not being checked consistently when they come to school. One parent said she was not searched when she came to the school to eat lunch with her daughter. Parents also asked if teachers are trained in active shooter situations. School representatives said teachers, staff, and students are trained of different levels of lock downs and shooter situations. The FBI said they do not believe the threats are tied to terrorism. The U.S. Attorney's Office said when the person is caught, they will likely be charged with internet threats. Investigators called the threats child sextortion and said the suspect will be caught. Officials asked parents to stop commenting on social media when the suspect posts and said they believe someone knows something who hasn't come forward. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
  4. Thanks to Miami Vice I'll always remember him for Smugglers Blues and You Belong To The City.
  5. I remember reading some review about it and they said you'd be better buying a J-Frame and a aftermarket laser and you'd be better off. Not to mention alot cheaper to.

  9. To those in Clarksville, TN Gun Country has the 9mm version as a rental and they'll give you 5 rounds and let you shoot it for free. It was just posted on their Facebook.
  10. How many magazines do you think a gun should come with? For me I think a gun should come with a minimum of two mags. On that note I won't buy a gun if it only comes with one. I mean I'm paying all this money for a gun you could at least throw in a extra mag or two. Seeing as how, depending on the company, the mags cost a pretty penny or two.
  11. Well here's the thing while the LCR .327 is a new product, .327 revolvers have been so since 2008 and a few months ago when I went into the store to see if they had it the persons at the counter know the different ammo it shot. The guy I talked to today was sure that you could only use .327. On that note the person I asked before him didn't know and went to ask him and said he's kind of the gun guru there.
  12. 32 s&w, .32 s&w long, .32 h&r mag Edit: Beaten to it.
  13. So today I was in TN Gun Country looking to see if they finally had the LCR .327, which they did. Anyways, I left my smartphone in the car so I asked one of the people behind what different ammo it can shoot. The guy told me it can't shoot different ammo, it can only shoot .327 which is why the caliber wasn't popular. I, of course, knew that was utter bullshit. I just gave him a WTF look and said OK and left right then and there. I hope to god he doesn't give a new shooter, that doesn't know any better, information.
  14. What's a 10mm for? Why, for shooting all types of bad guys in the hot Miami sun. ;)
  15. http://wkrn.com/2015/11/20/atf-works-to-trace-guns-used-in-violent-crime/ NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives recovered more than 5,800 firearms in Tennessee last year. Guns stolen during home break-ins and car burglaries are often used in violent crimes later. Just last year, the ATF recovered 5,839 firearms. It’s able to trace a gun back to its manufacturer and last legal sale from a licensed dealer. “We all know that violent crimes are committed with firearms everything from robberies to aggravated assaults to attempted murder to gang shootings,” Assistant Special Agent in charge of the Nashville field office Jack Webb said. “Our main concern is violent crime and the use of firearms during those violent crimes.” For example, the Metro Nashville Police Department was able to trace the gun used to kill Treyonta Burleson, 14, on Nov. 3 to a car break-in back in 1994. The gun was missing for 21 years. Webb said guns stolen from legal gun owners are commonly sold or given to criminals. “We encourage people when they store their fire arms either in their vehicles or in their homes to put trigger locks on them,” Webb said. “If it is stolen and it has a trigger lock it can’t be used.” There are also burglaries of licensed gun dealers like the break-in at Guns & Leather in Hendersonville on Nov. 15 where the thieves crashed a stolen car through the front of the building. The ATF, along with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), is offering a $6,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible. “In a crime like that, we are concerned because we know those guns are going to either be sold to be used in a criminal act or will be used in a criminal way by the people who stole them,” Webb said. The ATF also tracks where guns recovered in Tennessee come from. In 2014, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Kentucky were among the top 15 source states for guns. IT also warns people not to become “straw buyers” or they can face prison time. A straw buyer is someone who legally buys a firearm to give or sale to someone who is prohibited from owning a gun. The ATF and NSSF are partnering in the national campaign titled “Don’t Lie For the Other Guy” to raise awareness about straw purchases. If you buy a gun for someone who can’t legally buy one for themselves, you can face up to 10 years in prison.
  16. I have a better idea, why not get you a wheelchair like this ;)
  17. One word: Hemlock. At least here in Clarksville. When Hemlock promised they would be 500 jobs they were right. Except alot of them went to people working with Hemlock in Michigan, who transferred down here. Of course, the last laugh was on them when they did layoffs and couldn't get their old jobs back.
  18. It seems SCCY is coming out with a .380 pistol. http://www.gunsholstersandgear.com/2015/09/24/sccy-cpx-3-preview/

  20. http://clarksvillenow.com/local/woman-shot-in-neck-on-fort-campbell-blvd2/ This happened while I was at Planet Fitness. They were blocking off the parking lot as I was leaving.
  21. Yikes that's high. For the most part .38 and .357 is under $20 around here.
  22. Has anyone looked for any ammo for this gun? Earlier today at TN Gun Country all I saw was a few boxes of target .32 Auto for $22 and a few boxes of .327 hollow points for $20. On the flipside there was a whole row of .38 and .357 ammo.
