  1. Hows it kick with 00 buck and rifled slugs? Does the semi auto soak up the recoil some?
  2. Cool, thanks for all the suggestions so far I think I'm heading out to Wally World for some brake cleaner today, if anyone has any other methods please post as it might be useful to me or someone who has this same question later on down the road.
  3. I saw a HCP badge once, I was in a local pawnshop and a around 45+ year old guy with a blonde ponytail and his 1980 nuthuggers and cowboy boots then he had the badge LMAO

    GP Wasr-10/63

My WASR has been a great rifle so far, when I first got it I was reading all these bad reviews online and thinking I just bought a junk AK, but 500 rounds later I've had no problems my sights have been dead on at 25y 50y and 100y I would recommend a WASR to anyone as long as you look for common problems before you buy.
  9. You ruined it!! just kidding it looks great:up:
  10. I just purchased two older Military rifles and both have cosmo on them in the bolt and chamber area. I have never had to deal with cleaning cosmo before and was wondering what is the best way to remove it? I had a friend tell me brake cleaner but I wasn't wanting to damage the finish and or parts of the gun. So I guess my question is what is the safest way to remove the cosmo out the bolt area's and what is the safest thing to use when doing this? The rifles are a Swiss K31 and a Mosin Nagant 91/59, purchased from 141FE a great guy to deal with I might add. Thanks for your help and Have a great Holiday season!
  11. I worked and heard my paperwork for getting hired from temp. to permanent party is on the VP desk. So this is a blessing for me as jobs are hard to come by these days. I am looking forward to my 2 days off so I can catch up with my family and friends and the few good meals they cook is always a perk.
  12. What might be the going rate for one of these rifles any guess?

    Colt Talo

Why own a gun you can't shoot I just don't get it. I mean it is like from the Civil War or farther back era and just shouldn't be shot.

    Help me choose

Memphis is really getting out of control, I just saw that a 11 year old girl got shot there for no apparent reason. I voted AK and stand behind my vote, but if I was going to get a RIA 1911 I'd just save up the extra cash and get a Springfield.
  15. Yeah that Pinto is at the Ooltewah Sonic quite often too. That thing has a 460 Big block though so laugh it up, that thing will haul ass I'm sure.

    Help me choose

I voted AK for a few reasons. 1. you already have an SKS so you would already be buying 7.62x39 already I'm assuming. 2. ultra reliable 3. really simple to field strip and clean. 4. there is some aftermarket parts on the market 5. You might not always be able to get one in the future.
  17. I wouldn't want to have to explain having to use one for protection to the judge though. I imagine it would over penetrate.
  18. to whoever created this abomination of a gun j/k
  19. Goodness look at her.
  20. I'd vote Sig also just a much better gun.
  21. Yeah with all the hype Lane and his father Monte are bringing recruits are watching ESPN and see the stories.
  22. Wow the Mussolini photo is amazing I have always loved history and these photos are very interesting. Thanks for posting them
  23. Glad no one except the robber was injured/killed, as for the robber well he got what he deserved.
  24. Yes I like the old format better also since it is what I have become used to on other forums I participate in. I think some people who aren't computer savvy may look at how to post a for sale ad now compared to the old just start a thread and may not post because it is confusing to them, etc.
