  1. This story was reported on Fox news this weekend, and other sites have said McMillan verfired the story. I am moving my accounts to a credit union.
  2. True, I just don't think that way because no one's ever donated to my cause. Now if he's acquitted then everyone under the sun, (on here anyways), will claim to have believed that he was innocent all along. Out there will be riots like in the Rodney King case, and then Holder will step in to make sure he goes to prision.
  3. If you were in his shoes and were innocent would you think $15,000 was cheap?
  4. With a bondsman that's still around $15,000 gone out of his pocket. Pretty pricey cost to prove his case.
  5. I bought one for my 1911A1. I haven't installed it yet because I'm waiting on Jeff to finish fitting the new Ed Brown barrel to it and modify the sights. Then it's a coat of Moly Resin and away I go!
  6. Anyone else see the commercial from the postal worker's union crying about the closures? Why does it seem that people are surprised when their actions have consequences nowadays?
  7. I already don't purchase their products or use their services.
  8. I'd be willing to bet that she's forgotten the combination.
  9. I call BS. People don't crap on toilet paper; they crap on/in toilets.
  10. No, because even when the Republicans take over it's asking them to turn on their own kind.
  11. Money has been demonstrated to change most people's minds.
  12. My retort to Ramsey: With respect, you, (as in the Republican leadership), are over-complicating a simple idea. All you need do is pass a simple law stating that an employer cannot compel an employee into a search of their private vehicle for any reason. If there is probable cause that a crime has been committed then law enforcement officials would be the ones conducting the search; not an employer.
  13. Here's what I got back from Ramsey: Dear Mr. Jewell, I share your frustration. As the prime sponsor of Tennessee's original handgun carry permit law, I have always been a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. This session, I have been working hard with members of both chambers to try and pass a bill which balances both gun owners' right to bear arms as well as business owners' right to control their own property. I support making it legal for handgun carry permit holders to keep their guns in their car in most public parking lots. The problem we face is coming up with a definition of truly public parking lots that respects both property and gun rights. While we may not be successful this session, I hope you will continue to speak out in favor of our right to bear arms as I work towards a resolution to this issue. Sincerely, Ron Ramsey
  14. And did you express this to Ramsey?
  15. Every life is precious.Naw, I couldn't say that with a straight face.
  16. Pretty much it's all about how you, or your lawyer, convey your thought processes, and if a reasonable person would think the same way, For instance, I am 6'4" 295 lbs and look every bit as mean as I did as a Marine: however, time and life experiences have taken their toll on my body giving me several health issues that would prevent me from defending myself as I once would. If someone would just look at me they wouldn't buy a defense argument at face value, but when informed of the several health issues a reasonable person would conclude that it was self defense because I believed that I couldn't defend myself and was in reasonable fear of my life.
  17. You get your hair cut in Mayberry?
  18. Over a great deal of times, perhaps, but not for awhile. They aren't exactly itching to sell stuff cheaper for our benefit.
  19. As a former LEO I came to the conclusion long ago that we have a legal system; not a justice system.
  20. In what capacity?
  21. Sweet! My wife and I only owe $22,965.62
