  3. Ok fine, nobody wants to get out and pull a trigger on the 50.
  4. Check it out! Charlie's a great guy and the location is nice. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/events-gatherings/40323-chmr-meet-shoot-owl-hollow.html search throught that link and you'll get more info.
  5. Oh..I agree also, that's why I posted. From the picture originally posted, I felt compelled to offer an alternative to a permanent fixture. So, in all due respect, I'm just jealous of the amount of bench space that you have. I thought a little ribbing was necessary. No harm no foul.
  6. I've seen the posts and know that there aren't any ranges near the Nashville area, but there has to be some shooters somewhere local. I just can't find a distance past 300yds to sight in my 99. Anybody want to share info let me know. PM me if you have any interest in joining up.
  7. gregintenn........"one upper":p
  8. I figured it's a good cheat sheet to print out and have ready on the fly.
  9. I just purchased a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40SF BDC. Then I went to this site for some help. Nikon Spot On Ballistic Match Technology Program Thought it might help others like me. JMTC
  10. I have mine mounted on a platform that I can position anywhere on the bench. There just isn't enough space to reload and clean guns all in the same area. I use two clamps too!
  11. Let me know if you find something. I'm on the look out too!
  12. Nice addition!!! My safe queen gets mad every time I go to the gun shop too.
  13. Not going to make it either. Work has got in the way....again. At least it'll be a nice weekend. Maybe it won't be so muddy. AccuWeather.com - Fort Knox Weather | Forecast & Radar for Fort Knox, KY
  14. April 4 & 5, 2009 Reminds me of a middle school research project.
  15. How kid friendly is it? Sensory overload? I know it would be for me, how about a 3yr old?
  16. Aha...that link was what I was trying to find before I started this post. The forecast looks like it'll be wet and expensive.
  17. Is it worth the trip to see this event? It's going to happen on April 9,10,11. How many people have been? Are their any good deals to be had? If there is a TN FFL on location, can they do an on the spot transfer? I hope this isn't a can of worms:hiding:
  18. An interesting looksee-- Kimber > Products > Centennial Edition
  19. Well ain't that special:cool: I've found the end of the internet last week. I guess I overlooked that one.
  20. CARNIES....small hands....smells like cabbage!
  21. Cleaning after using Wolf ammo is a pain. It leaves a red residue that's unique to their rounds.(?) I beleive it has to do with sealing the primer. Anyways, I use them for volume plinking and not much else.
  22. I'm looking for one to purchase, once I do we can arrange some kind of deal. PM me if interested hunter
  23. Cost would prohibit the fixing. Not gunna happen:(
  24. After seeing the gunsmith, it was fired out of battery. It's unknown what to blame, firing out of battery, bullet setback, not fully seated in chamber(possibly leading). What a learning experience!! Thanks for the advise.
