  1. There has to be somebody with some acreage and a decent backstop on this forum.
  2. Charlie has said no in the past. Ask him to tell the story for why not. Please post/pm when you find something suitable. Thanks
  3. Let us know how the show goes. I might make it on Sunday morning.
  4. Buttonhook, Not to get off topic, but, a 50? That wasn't really on track with the original posting. What 50 are you asking about. You've peaked my interest, should you find a long range with that tolerance, let me know. oh...what ever Mosin you get, make sure you get a second one. That way you don't have to share the one your shooting.

jc, If you want to save a little on the Night Hawk Custom, check out this link: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=116553 This might help you lessen the upfront cost for a real nice piece. hope this helps
  6. If a welfare office stopped handing out checks for 10 days, would those people find jobs? Sorry to stray from the thread, thought I'd throw in a little something.
  7. Now that's paying-it-forward.
  8. This link looks like a good deal for an older scale. JMTC RCBS Powder Scale - eBay (item 270630675077 end time Sep-10-10 13:58:38 PDT)
  9. Here's what happens when you shoot your ass.
  10. This is a new purchase, and while doing a little inspection I noticed the following, see picture. I don't own any other wheel guns, and found this one at a good price. Does anybody have any preliminary suggestions before a gunsmith sees it? I haven't fired it, I was told that it works no problem. I have dryfired and it stung my finger like it should. I've found replacement parts, but can the bushing be replaced without any special tools, punches, etc? Thanks for any help.
  11. I had to register to find see the goods. That is a nice collection up for sale.
  12. Props to the 1911 banner.
  13. Good info. I've been lurking around Nashville for a longer, 50bmg, range. If you need someone to drive, PM me.
  14. I believe they used to offer the 50 option. However, I haven't looked further at that option. I'm just dreaming that someone would offer up a huge piece of land with a proper backstop, doesn't mind loud noises, and tolerates professional buffoonery.
  15. I had to add a little piece of my collection. Nice looking pieces everyone!
  16. 22lr, 38spcl, 45acp, 50ae 22lr, 223, 30.06, 7.62x54r, 50 bmg It's not the amount of calibers, it's the size of the stash.
  17. Let me know when you deploy...I'll keep the LMT nice and safe:) Sweet setup, the 1911 knive is something I have to add to the collection.
  18. Oh the things we go through to pull that expensive trigger. Thanks for the feedback, feel free to PM me with any private info.
  19. Ok fine, nobody wants to get out and pull a trigger on the 50.
  20. Check it out! Charlie's a great guy and the location is nice. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/events-gatherings/40323-chmr-meet-shoot-owl-hollow.html search throught that link and you'll get more info.
  21. Oh..I agree also, that's why I posted. From the picture originally posted, I felt compelled to offer an alternative to a permanent fixture. So, in all due respect, I'm just jealous of the amount of bench space that you have. I thought a little ribbing was necessary. No harm no foul.
  22. I've seen the posts and know that there aren't any ranges near the Nashville area, but there has to be some shooters somewhere local. I just can't find a distance past 300yds to sight in my 99. Anybody want to share info let me know. PM me if you have any interest in joining up.
  23. I figured it's a good cheat sheet to print out and have ready on the fly.
