If any one is willing to part with a 1911 I would consider a FTF in Franklin. Maybe a place that has an indoor range....hmm...Uselton's. After a purchase you may use the range, for free, to try out the new purchase. ....to see the looks on their faces if this happened!!!

You can't shoot reloads at this indoor range!! I'm confused!!

Vendors are definitely playing the hype. This would be great opportunity to be a vendor if you had the supply. There was an entreprenuer/desparate couple who rented out a table and put their whole safe on a table. It was funny when the wife said "It's been tough going the past couple of months." Even though they didn't have any deals, they seamed to be on the right track......buy low....sell high!!!!!

I'll be there looking for an AR-10. Maybe some other good deals along the walls?

The family has finally departed and what a strange trip it was. On my way to the airport(BNA) from Franklin there must have been about 6 cop cars with people pulled over. Then at the airport they had another watching the stop signs. Once the family was safe at the airport we returned and saw another 3 cars pulled over. All the cars were undercover type. What a strange coincidence that the year is coming to an end:screwy:

IMHO, starting with a single stage press is the best way to go. I found a single stage RCBS attached to a bench at my in-laws house. It came with all the trimmings for reloading, ie scale, trays, powder funnel. All I had to add was a new book and set of dies for my .50ae. After using a single press a couple hundred times you'll want to switch to a turret style. The time to switch will happen due to boredom, or for faster gratification.

Interesting:) I've had a wonderful experience a the reloaders bench. I'm a noob to reloading and they helped out greatly. I'd continue to drive 30 minutes to avoid hazmat charges. JMTC

Did or does anyone have any experience reloading this caliber? This is my first experience reloading anything. I figure a new hobby during these winter months is the best thing to kill time. I'm just writing out my christmas list for Santa. All I need left are a couple little things. -Sizing equipment-Manual to start with -Caliper -Scale (prefer digital) -Brass -Bulk Bullets I've been using Midwayusa and Reloaders bench to obtain all items. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

After buying my M&P 9mm, I've put through about 1K rounds through the same apple sized hole at 15yds. Very..Very..Very happy about my first purchase for home defense<cough> FUN <cough>!! Since that purchase about 4 months ago I've bought 4 new pieces.

She's reading these posts and thinks it awesome.....however; she says my real Christmas present is going to be a huge set of diamond earrings.
