The ammo tax sticker is for three (3) cents and it was purchased at............wait for it...........................J.C. Penny's! Anyone even got a clue how old this could be?

Tried to log on to TGO just a minute ago using Mozilla (my everyday browser) and got an interesting message: "This site may harm your computer!!". Try as I may, the site was blocked and I could not connect. I switched over to IE and all is well. Anyone else had this issue? Mozilla says the site download malicious malware. Hum, not gun friendly???

well the scope thing isn't THAT bad........I had mine and the biggest pain in the butt (pun intended) was the prep work. After you drink all the draino, keep one bathroom clear and some very SOFT toilet paper around. Trust me, after you've starting taking the draino by the end of the day, you will be "pat, pat, pat" due to extreme monkey butt.........but hey, the drugs are great and the picture show afterwards ain't bad either.......FWIW

One of the local gun shops here has posted a link covering the newest laws concerning handgun carry. In one link it stated it was an offense for anyone to carry in an establishment that serves alcohol for onsite consumption. I thought that law was overturned so am I really confused? Someone help me out.......

see, my take on the bayo thing was I thought Mike was just trying to get the newbie to look somewhat ridiculous on the firing range with the bayo on.......i wouldn't put it past some of these guys. seem's the best accuracy the bayo would do is if i ran up to the target, poked it, and then fired. seem's like that would be very accurate.

elbows, my luck if I were shooting off a rest it would fly back and break a rib.....I did have the muzzle on a rest while maintaining a FIRM grip. My jaw got jarred a few times as well, think I knocked a tooth loose.....

nice xd, you will absolutely love shooting that one! I have the 4" service model and thanks to OhShoot letting me shoot his subby, I now have the subcompact as well. Look for an older model 1911 like a Springfield Champion. Those are great shooters as well. Nice collection........send me what you don't want.

took my new to me mosin 90/31 to the range today (purchased about 6 months ago) and put about 50 rounds down range. Shooting targets @ 50 yds & 100 yds. Much more accurate @ 50 than 100. Shot off center to right on both targets, probably because I would flinch when pulling the trigger. Looks like a Nancy pad is on order, my shoulder is already getting sore and I think I spot some discoloration. Just call me Sally.........however, it sure was fun to shoot, now that I've broken it in solo, I will not be embarrassed to go to Norris with the usuals for a day of shooting.
