I was there right after Christmas and they do allow carry. The way its worded on the range release form leads you to believe they don't, but I asked about it and he said carry was fine. Seemed to be a good group of folks.

I like your line of thinking. However, I would let everyone supply their own rifle/handgun for qualification. And, everyone 18-55 would have to qualify, have their designee qualify for them, or pay a $1000 "fine" for not qualifying. I personally don't think military service should be mandated, we have the best military in the world. And, I works just fine as an all volunteer service.

I'm just starting out shooting skeet as well, using an 870 Express. To say the least it is not the best choice. As far as a recommendation you need to give us a budget of what you are willing to spend. That's going to be the factor in your decision (at least it is in mine). I do know shotgun fit has a lot to do with it because I suck with my 870, I'm a little better with my buddies Browning Maxus, and I can break the most clays with my brothers Benelli Nova. You should go to your local gun shop and try out a few to see how they feel. Also, keep going to the range and shooting and maybe someone will let you borrow their gun to let you get a feel for different fits. Like I said I'm new to the game, that's just my .02

My wife has recently put up new curtains which trip the motion sensor on the alarm. The curtains are only about 12 inches from the sensor and everytime the A/C comes on it trips the motion detector. I was hoping someone could recommend a quality sensor that is more immune to false alarms than the cheapo unit that came with the system. I figure a dual-technology unit would be the ticket, but I don't want to spend the money to find out it doesn't work either.
