  1. Those are neat, but I'd rather have a semi auto. Probably has a helluva kick to it with a lightweight frame.
  2. Yeah, it's one of those. I'm looking for a tiny handgun that is easily concealable no matter what I'm wearing. My smallest handguns are Glock 26 and LCR in 357. I'm not a fan of getting another handgun caliber, but with a sheet of size comparisons, I've come to like one certain firearm. I chose to look at 380's due to no 9mms small enough to warrant another $400 on a handgun that is "similiar" in size to my 26.   Now, onto the 380. I've been eyeballing the NAA Guardian. Weight is not an issue, but due to size I wanted something hefty. This is obviously no range gun or long distance shooter, but more for back up or very hot summer day carry. The simplicity of the firearm is also very appealing to me.   Anyone have any experience with them?
  3. I'm jealous. Always wanted one in 44mag.

    Glock 43

My EXACT thoughts. I have the 26, finger/mag extensions on 26 mags. It's hard to justify any of these smaller 9mm pistols.
  5. First off, his buddy is clearly an idiot. Why would you pick a revolver over a semi auto for an armed security job? I have nothing against revolvers and I love them , but when you're basically a walking target, why carry less rounds when you dont have to?
  6. I just got new prescription glasses last week, one being a pair of wrap around sunglasses. They are no different than shooting glasses, except that helps me see everything clear.
  7. Very nice! I like it.

    New toy.

Hard for me to say no to a pretty revolver.
  9. Your budget anddd requirements all point to the Shield, imo.
  10. I'm a Glock kind of guy. But if the M&P feels better for you, sounds like that is the better choice.
  11. I haven't found a specific area yet, still looking around for now.
  12. I've never heard of Alabama Holsters, but when I carry my LCR 357, I use a desantis. For the price, it works very well (front or back pockets). I may have to check out Alabama Holsters, though. Been looking for a good IWB.

    Ruger 22/45

I have a 22/45 and it is a nice little gun. My woman basically declared it hers. It has given me no problems other than switching to a different ammo. Even then, it wasn't too picky.
  14. Congrats on the new gun. I have a Glock 30 and it is pretty awesome.
  15. I don't think I have any Yankee ideas...I'm far from NYC (Syracuse area) and I hate cities, traffic. Unless you call soda "pop", but that is the extent of my yankeeness! :D
  16. Hello! I'm looking to move to Eastern TN, so I thought I'd join up and start getting to know the greatest gun owners :)   I'm from a socialist country, formerly known as New York. So far, this forum vs NY gun forum are 2 different worlds. I love it.   Hope you don't mind having a yankee on board! Thanks for having me.
