  1. The event starts at 11am but The Outpost will be keeping their normal hours tomorrow, so I'm sure they would welcome you there if you show up earlier than 11. As for Lt. Governor Ramsey, I am not sure if he will or will not be attending. Unfortunately there is some inherent fluidity in organizing an event like this when the State House and Senate are out of session and so many politicians are back in their home districts. In fact, Senator Jackson is making an extra special effort to be with us tomorrow even though he has to another appointment earlier in the morning. Yes, stop by at the TGO tent and pick up a TGO name badge! Feel free to hang around and socialize and look for other TGO members sporting badges as well.
  2. You should really hope not.
  3. Mr. Barrett isn't on our payroll so he's free to promote whatever he wants to promote.
  4. There will probably be enough firepower present to handle all but the most determined zombies.
  5. Mike, I just got off of the phone with one of my fellow event team organizers and it sounds as though the majority of the speaking engagements will occur between 11:30 - 1:30 with other activities flowing over beyond that. In light of a formal schedule of who is speaking when, I hope this helps you better plan your day.
  6. Mike, I really wish I had that schedule but I don't. It was still a "working document" as of earlier today and I may not be able to get a copy of it myself until tomorrow morning. If I can, I will post it as soon as I see it.
  7. Sorry, but I see absolutely no room for relativism in the world of customer service. I don't believe that the customer is always right, but certain behavior from representatives of a company are just absolutely unforgivable transgressions. This guy should be fired on the spot if that's his approach for handling unhappy customers and potential customers.
  8. If I were Rick, family or not, you'd be looking for a new job after posting a comment like this a site that has over 5,000 registered Tennessee gun owners on it and gets an average of 30,000+ unique visitors every month. Wow. Just wow. WAY to go!
  9. It looks like mother nature still might give us a little misting of rain tomorrow but the Second Or None event is still a GO and will be no matter what the weather dishes out... unless it's a tornado, or an earthquake or plague of locusts... The good news is that there IS a very large tent on site now and it butts up to the existing awning that covers the entrance to the Outpost Armory. This decision was made last night to ensure that the weather cannot sour the event. Many (if not all) of the corporate sponsors will also have tents erected all around the main event itself, so there will be plenty of cover if a little rain sets in at any point during the day.
  10. Gotcha. Maybe the owner will understand why good PR is so important if he gets a chance to visit.
  11. Dude, seriously... if that building had been a gangsta, you wouldn't even be reading this right now. THAT is how close you came.
  12. Anyone who says that a police department is a safe place to be, clearly has never watched the original Terminator movie.
  13. You're very likely going to miss most of what is important at tomorrow's event if you leave Nashville at 1pm.
  14. Really? Where? The one by Kroger went out of business the last I heard.
  15. I can't tell you how many times I've carried legally in Lenny's prior to this as well. The problem sort of "fixed" itself though when all of the Lenny's locations in my part of Middle TN went out of business though. Now we just go to Jersey Mike's. As far as I know, they don't post.
  16. Sorry for the inconvenience, guys. I wish it had been something that I could have fixed. Being at someone else's mercy sucks.
  17. The ability to comment without registration, and the inability to verify that the people registering are who they purport to be, is a pretty clear path to you being overrun with a bunch of impostors. That would drive me nuts. I did find it humorous that Kwik brags about suing a lot of people over the years and having won all but one of them. Who brags about that sort of thing? That's like saying you tattled constantly in school and only got your ass kicked once. If that was my life and my source of pride, I wouldn't have very much to live for.
  18. You will be directed where to park upon arrival. There are several parking areas, but traffic control will be done by the Sheriff's Dept and cadets with the local JROTC.
  19. Interestingly enough, I noticed that someone with a Lenny's corporate email address registered today. So they are aware of your discontent with this decision to post. Now that you have their attention, maybe they will give some sort of reply.
  20. There will be replays of the Bama game on the Internet and TV. No replays of the Second Or None 2009 event!
  21. Event activities are to start at 11:00am and go through 3:00pm. I'm not entirely sure what the timetable for the speaking portion is going to be, as that part is being managed by an event organizer. Outpost will be open during the event and I'm pretty sure there will be good deals to be had also.
  22. It's the next best thing to a ride along as far as getting to know your local police officers go.
  23. Wow... its good to be hated I think. Thanks to all of you who voiced your support for TGO. I really do appreciate it and it's very good to hear that so many really do enjoy this place.
  24. I wouldn't want you mad at me anywhere near a grassy knoll. Good shootin!
