1. Well I'm heading out to 4-way restaurant for breakfast and then on to Westmoreland.   If you see a guy with a black Brooks & Dunn backpack stop and say hi.   Verne
2. I don't know for sure.  Given where it is I don't think it will be a big show but given where it is no telling what will walk in.  I have a buddy that is going to have a table up there and going to help him out if he needs it. Also going to grab a few things from David.
3. I will be there Saturday.  Look forward to seeing you.  Need a few more bullets for some 300 Blkout subs.
4. Saw this in an email the other day from Gearhog.  http://www.gearhog.com/   Is Steel Defender stuff any good?
5.   Word is they will hit the market before the end of the year maybe even this month.  Supposedly the first out will all be 8" barrels with others following after the first of the year.   You can read all bout it here http://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/320601935/m/4610068653
6.     Macon County? Vehicle in Pasture?  Cows present?  No I have never been involved in such a thing that caused the fenders to be replaced and the bed to get kicked by one really ticked of cow.  And if this was to have happened no cows were hurt.  Just one guys truck.
7. I don't think the trigger is that bad just HEAVY.  Not saying that is an excuse.  If there wasn't a replacement for it I could have lived with the factory trigger but since there is....   I have a ShootingSight Tav-D you are welcome to try out since my Tavor is at IWI having the left handed bolt put in.
8. DAMN IT!!!! I missed free wings!!!!!!!!!!!! All kidding aside, hope your wife gets up to speed quick. I'm still off work for another month due to surgery myself. My schedule is pretty much open till the middle of November. So let's make something happen before it gets cold.
9. You Suck and I Hate You. LOL Sorry couldn't resist myself. Nothing brings a smile to your face like Full Auto. That is a very nice setup.
10. Rumor is that you will be able to in the near future.  There has been at least one factory 9mm Tavor reported over on the  Bullpupforum in this thread http://bullpupforum.com/index.php?topic=6914.0   Gear Head stated that it was a custom order.  Hopefully he can comment since he is on this board under a different name that I can't rmember at the moment.
11. it was only $10 to have a set of nine shipped to my door.  Have never seen any as small as I would need at the parts house.  These are less than 10", probably closer to 6", round belts.  If I wasn't off work due to my foot for another month we keep all kinds of them there.  They are used as industrial drive bands for powered roller conveyers and line shaft setups.    This setup is overkill to use the trimmer but I had it and love messing with it.  Brings back some great memories.  I have invested more in it than a 1/2" chuck drill would have run but not much.  Plus it has given something to do since I have been off since the September 2nd and wont be able to go back till the mid of November.   Thank you all for all the help.
12. Thanks for the suggestions on the the three sided file. Have spent some time today messing with it and is slowly getting better.  At least I have free time right now to miss with it.    Just hoping the drive belts show up Saturday so I can start trimming some brass with it.   Thank you,
13. That's an option but does not sound like fun. There is a good length that needs to be cleaned up. And now some pics. 14.   Thanks.  I have already been poking around on the the homestead site with no luck.  Will have to check out the yahoo group.             A wire brush would have been my first choice except the threads on the end of the Lead Screw got marred up some how previously and it would only come a part by threading that end out.  The other end was not threaded all the way to the end so it was only coming out  the one way.  I can order replacement parts but wanting to see if I can get these in a semi usable condition.    Right now I am just setting it up to run my Dead On Trimmer so the carriage is not even being used.   I will get some pics shortly.   Thanks again,
15. Since I have had some time I have been cleaning  up a Unimat SL 1000 mini Lathe that belonged to my dad.  Can remember as a kid my dad showing how to do different stuff with it.   I have to pull it completely down and clean the rails for the lead screw and carriage since they were gummed up.  Luckily the drive unit is working great on it Where I need help is the Lead Screw and Carriage need to have the threads chased but having a hard time finding out what pitch they are.  I know it is a fine metric thread with a left hand twist.   Any insight or help would be great?  Heck if you have a tap and die set with left hand metric setup I would buy lunch for the chance to use them for a few minutes to get this back in tip top shape.   Thanks,
16. You also have Rockcastle in Cave City, KY that is not too far of a drive from Nashville area.  http://www.parkmammothresort.us/rockcastle.htm
17. Hope you guys had a good time.  With the rain and the hole I'm having to stuff with gauze in my foot I didn't need to get out in the lovely weather this morning.  I was really wanting to get out and play with the Tav-D trigger in the Tavor.  Hopefully next time.
18. As long as it doesn't look like rain I will try to be there.  Had foot surgery last week but the Doc said it would be fine to do the 3-gun as long as I don't dunk it in a hole full of water.  Should be interesting shooting with the IV of antibiotics in a fanny pack.
19. Got to check it out at the Bullpup Convention too. Not something I would be looking to pick up but it is nice. The trigger was not that bad either. It is was not hard to shoulder but not something I would want to hold there for long but much much easier to shoulder then a Barrett M82. Was also a lot easier to chamber then you would expect.
20. Had a great time yesterday. Got time on the X95 and Red Jackets full path 10/22 bullpup. But the highlight was shooting the 338 Laupa at 1,000 yards and ringing steel on the first shoot. Will try to get a few of the pics I took up later this week but will be a few days since having surgery tomorrow.
21. My buddy thinks it's my stubbornness kicking in to put off surgery till Monday so I can go to the Bullpup Shoot but I think it is completely rational.
22. Will do. I shouldn't be hard to miss since I will more than likely be the only one sporting a walking cast boot.
23. XD's have long been known for the sights being a pain to get out.  Took mine to my smith and asked about getting sights put and he said sure and rattled off price.  Pulled out the XD he looked at me and said if he had known it was one of them it would have been more since they are so hard to change.  He did it for the quoted price but did not like it.
