  1. Bartlett WM gots the goods again as of today (mon) 4:30pm. Blazer Brass - I got 10 boxes and they didn't even have to dip into the shelf stock. After taxes - $99 even fwiw: The cordova store went through a shipment of wwb and blzr brass over the weekend.
  2. Congrats Hope they don't find out we're onto em before i am able to make "the call" in a couple weeks When you find out, would be great to hear what your uncle was told, cjames!
  3. I respect you for being open to revising your argument, and hope you do stick around What you are saying now is somewhat easier to swallow. But i honestly think we have *already* accepted those limits and then some. We should not entertain the thought of giving up any more ground. To do so would be of no use to anyone but those who break the laws.
  4. Yeah. It's just the butt of it that some times sticks out. Not nearly as bad as the 23 I traded for it though. Maybe a bulge and a print are two different things... i'm a noob to carrying I'm finding 2:00 iwb works best for me. Prints/bulges less, and quicker to draw.... Crazy about my 26 too
  5. Nice, man Congrats! I was probably being a little harsh. Just bummed about not scoring some good jhp 9mm ammo, beretta 21a holster, a spyderco, or good deal on a glock mag. If i were actually gun shopping, i may have had a different take on it. Anyone with $9 (with coupon) to spare, and wants to see some really cool guns should go!
  6. Just got back from the gun show. ...meh Got some .380 Blazer Aluminum for $20. At least i can finally put a few rounds through my Grendel again.... Very little as far as quality knives go, but it was a *gun* show. Nothing like the shows i remember at the Pipkin building back in the day.
  7. I missed the last one. I wasn't back into guns until the following week... yeah it's weird... long story Sounds like there wasn't much to this last one(?), but i may try to go anyway. Haven't been to a gun show in many many years.... A few knives i would like to check out too. I'm guessing there are still a lot of knives.
  8. How do these people sleep at night?? They can't get enough sheeple to buy into their 8th grader logic, so they disguise it as something they have no belief in themselves..... Country music doesn't do a thing for me personally. But if it did, i'm sure i would have been suckered in based on what i heard of the lyrics.
  9. *Respect*, dude Just for giving it a shot on your first time out. And here i am worrying that my G-26 is gonna print too much
  10. Can't say the thought didn't cross my mind I look forward to seeing how much longer Rem will have to wait now...
  11. Wow, man! I'm going to call at 14 days too then I have been waiting FOREVER!! Ok.... I actually just got printed less than 2hrs ago, but still....
  12. Cool deal, man. Your experience with their .40 loads is pretty convincing I think i will probably start shooting their stuff as well. I asked them about it while i was in there. Sounded like good stuff, and from what sounded like a legit re-manufacturing outfit. This was my first time in there. I didn't shoot, but was really impressed by what i saw of the place and their people.
  13. I appreciate you guys' additional info and addendum I'll be sure to ask about the reloads at the range. Decisions, decisions.... btw: Spent all morning at the dept of safety.... Just filled out my app online, and bout to run out the door now to get printed at Range USA
  14. That's good to here I was kinda hoping to here that the bulk reloads typically found at ranges were of "good enough" quality to trust in Glock 9's. But it is sounding more and more like i would need to load my own. I'm really not looking forward to chasing brass and all again. It was fun and interesting at times, but for me it became more of a pain than it was worth. Will probably change my tune if price/availability don't improve soon though. Thanks again, guys!
  15. Thanks, guys.. Will definitely run that search like i should have in the first place :-\ pragmaticpreparedness-- I reloaded 10mm for a while on a Dillon Square Deal-B i think it was called. Unfortunately i sold it after trading off my Delta Elite.... Sounds like it would be smart to look into reloading 9's now though.
  16. Hope it doesn't make you as paranoid as it did me ... http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/glock-kb-faq.html I thought the next one was several months away. I missed the last one (wasn't back into it at the time). Thanks for the heads up, man
  17. After about 15yrs of no shooting, i have the fever again ... WHAT TIMING though. Now i may not have any ammo to spare for shooting I'm pretty freaked out by the whole "kB!" thing with Glocks, and what can happen (mostly with reloads). Supposedly less likely in the 9's i think.... Is it a gamble buying reloads from a range? I don't think they would be making the loads very hot (intentionally), but don't know how closely they monitor their brass and stuff Specifically - I'm thinking of the RangeUSA reloads in a Glock 26.
  18. Thanks for posting that, and for speaking up for gun owners Maybe i need to start watching fox 13 news more often. I think a lot of reporters/producers would have cut you from the story in favor of someone less convincing. Great job

    Long guns in cars

I voted "no", but definitely would like the option. In my little hatchback it's pretty tough to keep the ammo and gun separated Definitely too risky for me to leave a gun in the car on a regular basis.
  20. If you would enjoy shooting it, i'm betting your grandfather would have wanted you to I can understand the hesitation, but my vote is to shoot it.
  21. What?!!?? Good tip on using the range ammo. But as a glock owner, the whole "kB!" thing has me paranoid enough to stay away from range ammo At some point i will probably have no choice though. I don't hate living here. I do get tired of the flyers from apt management keeping us updated on the latest break-ins (never give details ). Got one just last week saying there was a "robbery" in the parking lot.
  22. I have to agree with kingtone and Glockmeister. View it as an opportunity to score one for our side. Otherwise you may just score one for the other side... Also- My instructor spent some time talking about how we have more of an obligation to avoid physical confrontations. Most of those start verbally.
  23. I'm sure there would be a ton of legal/insurance hoops to jump through, but i bet you could turn that into a nice weekend business Would probably have to get a certified range master(s) or something. Or get certified yourself, and limit the number of people. I have no clue what would be involved, but sounds like a fun way to make some extra bucks... to me anyway I dig going to the range, but it doesn't compare to shooting outside without the confines of the little cubicle like booths
  24. Come on now We got Graceland, and uh..hmm... Well, we got Graceland. I've never been though
