Heh.. I have posted a few times after finding ammo, but only when there was a bunch more when I left. Hope i didn't come off as bragging Just trying help some folks out. I'll knock it off if it's annoying more people than it helps though

Congrats, kcnative High-Octane-- I called at 2 weeks, and then had it after 12 more days. Two weeks seems to work for many (most?).

If it were to ever get that bad here, it would probably be due to the current administration (or one like it) submitting to some kind of international laws. And in that case, everywhere will probably have gone to pot.... That's just a theory i heard recently, and it made sense.

Yeah. I can't deal with undershirts. I can see how it would be more comfortable. Mine is fine as it is for walking and sitting, but i do get a jab getting into the car quite a bit. Most of them look like they would be hot. Guess i will just have to try one for myself sometime Dunno what i was thinking Thanks for the help, guys!

I got my hcp a couple days ago, and just took a 30min walk to give my holster/position a good test. It was only 72 or so outside, but i noticed a little sweat on my gun when i got back. The holster I am using has no sweat guard, and is carried around 1:00 position. I'm sure the problem will get worse as temps climb. Is this going to cause any probs with my Glock's function or finish? Guess i'm mostly concerned about sweat getting between the slide and the frame. Not as concerned about the finish, but would like to maintain it for as long as i can. Thanks

Congrats, man Got mine yesterday at 12 days. There have been a couple folks that had issues when they called lately. But for the majority, you're right on the money.... Funny how a lot of us (including me) get so impatient Especially in my case after i had put it off for so many years

Glad you guys here are letting everyone know to call! Gonna knock off early and head to walmart

I only caught part of the last half. I think that is all i could have stomached anyway though. It's like they avoid the issue of crime and punishment because they can't address the real issues and come off credible with their childish liberal slant. 6:00 seems a little scary to me. I would be afraid of falling on my butt/back, and the damage a chunk of steel could do to my tail bone or lower spine.... Seems to be pretty common though. So i'm probably missing something

I am just testing around the house still, but have worn it at 1:30 for several hrs a day lately. Also tried gettin in and out of the car several times. I can sit more comfortably, and often forget it's even there..... I sometimes have trouble getting my tshirt out of the way when it is around back. But with practice, i'm pretty sure that wouldn't be much of an issue. I get the impression that's where most tend to carry iwb.

It is my understanding that they are reloads or re-manufactured anyway. My instructor had a box of them, and one had nickel plated brass.

I really appreciate everyones responses. Starting to lose sleep over this issue As for the "short barrel" ammo.... All i have seen so far is Gold Dot SB, and it's +p. Midway does have it at a decent price (available for backorder). BUT it's +p. Todd-- I did manage to score 100 rounds of Speer Gold Dot 124gr. I take it that you have seen reliable data/evidence that these standard pressure rounds will have adequate velocity for expansion in a shorter barrel. That may be the answer for me! At least for now..... If you would be confident carrying these rounds in a g-26, that's good enough for me, man
