1. I'm assuming you both have the new style ID's. My first/original HCP had no numbers other than my drivers licence number/permit #. My duplicate HCP (which is the new style) however has the permit number and a different number above my name. So that number above your name is the same on both HCP ID's?
2. In March 2011, I had to get a new driver licence and at that time I also got a duplicate carry permit for $5. Today I renewed my permit which expires in Feb 2013 and was told that when you get a duplicate it makes the current ID invalid and the duplicate valid. So when I gave them my original permit the system was not recogning it. She did something and I was able to renew. The duplicate permit would have the same exp. date both I assume the issued date would be changed. Also my new driver licence has a DD# and my duplicate permit has a DD#.
3. I think 59 & 69 prefix with the 3 number relating to alloy or steel and 4 number relating to the action SA/DA or double action only. The 39 series I believe are single stack 1st generation. Quick reply but I'll try to double check.
4. I hope to have something new on Monday. Found both guns I was looking for. M&P Sport $599 or No lock S&W 442 $389.
5. Since weight doesn't matter I would look for a 3rd generation S&W.
6. I really like my MTAC by Comp-tac. I like a forward cant and sitting low. This is by far my favorite pistol also. Carry daily and shoots straight as an arrow.
7. Their are 2 guns that I wanted to added to the collection. An AR15 & a snubbie. I'm on the lookout for a lightweight snubbie. thanks
8.
Fine if that's out the door, a gouge if + tax/tics - OS
A lgs quoted me $760 otd and I passed on that. The $700 is online plus transfer and background. Thanks for all the replies. I'll keep thinking about it because as much as I want it, it would be for range and fun.
9. First off I'm new to AR and after lots of reading and more needed. I've decided on the M&P sport but is she really worth $700. I know supply and demand pricing and maybe I should wait but what do you some of you guys think? thanks
10. It was probably the M400. Not made specifically for Wal-Mart and can be purchased from your lgs also. The twist ratio was 1:9.
11. Not a real big deal but at restaurants I like to sit in a booth vs a chair with carry side towards the inside. And congrats on getting your permit.
12. I only use my Comp-tac now days but I'll check the box when I get home. My range of motion with my shoulder is not what what it use to be. So I like to be able to adjust the height and cant on my holsters. edit for found a pic on photobucket
13. I've got 2 of these that I used with a Sig 229. Just an awesome belt. http://www.jbgunbelts.com/Photo-Gallery-1.html
14. I'm in Chattanooga and as much as I like/love this gun the USP has won me over. Maybe we could schedule a day to shoot. It will be up for sale because I don't keep guns I don't carry. I've been eyeing that new XDs.
15. I like the flat baseplates for carry on the eight round mags. And the ten round for spare. I can get pics once I get home of how the ten looks when in the gun.
16. Laktrash that's what I need to do. Doubles for just in case.
17. New to the house. HK USP 45 Compact SIG 220 SAO 45 Compact
18. Looks like a Kahr to me. I try to clean mine before I leave the range plus I like to shot a mag after cleaning.
19. Does renewing at the 6 month change your expiration date for your next renewal?
20. Yes, all you will need is a factory .357 Sig barrel. Midway, SIG home page and GT Distributors are place I shopped around when I ordered mine. I wanted stainless but ended up with nitron. May end up getting a stainless finish look added at some point though.
21. I have the compact(6+1) because of my small hands but their is also a full size(8+1). SAO, accurate, feeds anything I feed it & thin but around 30ozs. The more I search for another gun I end up going back to this gun. CDNN has these on sell and I debating on getting a second one.
22. M&P9c in a Remora clipless holster Off topic but, how good is this Remora holster? I'm really going to have to try one. And what size/type did you end up with?
23. Make sure to read the owners manual, 200 rounds for break-in, use sling shot method, lube it good and find carry ammo similar in shape to FMJ. Golden Sabers didn't work for me.
24. I took my test at Fugate's also. Great people to deal with.
