  1. Yes, it's their annual meeting and fundraiser. A great opportunity to mingle with 50,000+ 2A supporters. The exhibition hall is smaller than what you would see at SHOT, but it has most/all of the major players in the industry, and is a great chance to see the new stuff out on the market, and meet/greet the major players in the industry. Check it out: NRA 2011 Annual Meetings & Exhibits - Home This is GREAT news for Nashville!
  2. Congrats to G&L on their new store! Wishing you much success in the future.
  3. I would contact TNRoboCop http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/member.php?u=1037 He is AGR (Active Guard/Reserve) with the TN Air National Guard I believe, and should have some very good and accurate info for you.
  4. Yeah, I was thirsty and the crap-beer vendor came by, so I lowered my standards in the name of cold and fast. * I had VIP Suite tickets, so rest assured I drank plenty of premium beer during the game
  5. Has the pistol been converted to a SBR, or is it still a pistol? Process is simple: (this is the super condensed version) 1. Find NFA item you want to buy- check 2. Find receiving SOT "Class III dealer" to handle the transfer 3. Pay for NFA item, providing seller with the SOT's info 4. Seller transfers item to the receiving SOT 5. SOT helps you complete the ATF Form 4 paperwork 6. Wait. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.
  6. I hate to admit it, but these next few games will be painful...... (but hey, at least we beat the Braves...lol)
  7. We haven't done this in awhile, so I thought it would be a good time to say HI! Post your real name + picture. Joe (and my 13.75 year old daughter, Rebecca)
  8. I was denied about 6 months ago. It was around 530pm, and we were just getting ready to close and I got denied. (Sorta disturbing when I have a valid HCP, DoD security clearance, and am the FFL...lol) I was SO freakn pissed...lol Anyway, I didnt even bother filling out an appeal form, and just locked up the shop and when home. When I came back the next day, I checked our TICs log, and it had been overturned and changed to Approved. I suspect someone punched the wrong button or something.
  9. I have no idea how things worked from a technical standpoint, but I do know that a large number of the Scout Platoon, 1/18 Infantry were fortunate enough to "train" for road marches with the help of this dedicated young lady.
  10. Looks like Claude found another sucker..... Just kidding. Congrats! Appleseed is a great program, and Claude Morse is doing a great job as Statewide Coordinator.
  11. The reminds me of this chick in Germany that was a quad-amp back in Schweinfurt in the late 90s. She "dated" lots of GIs, and was even seen riding in a soldiers rucksack as he humped her through the main gate as he entered post.
  12. Well, I will be there tonight with a bunch of friends watching BB King perform. If I survive the night, I will try to post a few pictures.
  13. Call Brenda and ask. See you tomorrow
  14. I would LOVE a "Wagon Queen Family Truckster" in "metallic pea"

  20. Ummmm...... Yeah, I spent a couple of days in the Army, and a few hours in that AOR (and many others)
  21. Private calling home: "yeah mom, we dont have bullets, we are under constant attack here at "FOB Boredom" and I had to make a bed out of used toliet paper and old tea bags from the chow hall" Mom: " OMG! My poor baby is being forced to fight Evil Doers with nothing but a spork and bad breath! I have to call every newspaper in the free world and explain how hard it is over there!" Reality check: We have been in direct combat since 16 Sept 2001 (give or take a few days, depending on what units we are talking about) and have been conducting Stab-Ops long enough that kinks in the Log Pack are very rare. Now almost 9 years later, I can tell you that most Privates that deploy to Camp Cupcake (or any other FOB) have plenty of ammo, plenty of blankets, and plenty of time to play Xbox.
  22. This is correct. They can transfer tax free 1 time to an heir, or you can sell them (the heir or with the help of a SOT)
