  1. I guess my relatives are more trustworthy.
  2. I used to keep a 6d in every car. I guess they would put a hurtin on someone if that's all you had available.
  3. I don't believe I ever said he didn't want one. And what does having kids have to do with it. I guess anyone with kids should get rid of any guns they own. I have discussed it with him and am 100% certain he wouldn't sell anything I gave him gun or otherwise. Again I don't think I ever said he wasn't interested in guns. When we were growing up we did alot of hunting and he still fires a few rounds thru my guns on occasion. He really likes my LCP but he ain't gettin that one. My main point here was that he doesn't think anything will happen to him that would cause him to need a firearm. Most likely he will never have a reason to draw a gun for defense but it only takes one time without one and life as he knows it could be over.
  4. up until this year just about every gun i owned was a gift, it's great. my bedside companions. to bad this is just a few short of being every gun i own.
  5. WOW!! someone who actually knows what they are talking about. thanks bronker.
  6. it's more because it was a gift and i don't want it sitting out and getting scratched up but thanks for your concern.
  7. still looking for a good tactical 12ga. the only shot gun i have is browning invector-plus bps with 28" barrel. i don't even keep ammo with it. has had no more than 100 rounds fired thru it.
  8. i keep my ar within arms reach but would grab one of the xd's first.
  9. i say charge $20 and winner takes all. either way i'm in. will make my picks when i get home.
  10. I received a card from one of the recipiants of your generosity today so I thought I would pass along what it says. I did not put any names other than TGO on anything I sent out but did have a return address on the envelopes. I will type it exactly as it is except anything in parenthesis. Dear TNgunowners.com, Words really cannot express how humbled we were to receive your unexpected gift! Both Sean and I cried, we simply do not feel worthy of such generosity. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We hope that you all will have a blessed Christmas & a wonderful New Year. You have truly blessed us. Very Sincerely- The $#%%^@ Family(I'm not giving out the last name) Sean, Krista, & Audrey
  11. xd9sc that way you don't have to be a part of the glock cult
  12. my new life motto:)
  13. I've gained 10-15lbs. Damn fudge!!
  14. I would worry about cincy as much as or more than TCU. By the way TCU is my second favorite team, the school is like 30 minutes from my parents house.
  15. i've got one for my xd's in horsehide and it is very comfortable
  16. maybe titan14's wording was a little harsh but i agree with him. i'm about sick to death of hearing about tebow. those 2 goons that did the game on cbs have a man crush on him and have for 2-3 years. i will say that it's more the media than tebow himself. he seems like an upstanding young man.
  17. I want a pic of him crying after THIS game if anyone can find one. It's really funny that the votes for bama are going up now that the game is over.
  18. Look at what Boise State did to Oklahoma a few years ago and what Utah did to Alabama last year. These teams(TCU, Cincy, Boise St., etc.) can and do play teams from the larger conferences and do win. I have to agree that a playoff is the only way to ever have a "true" champion. By the way it would be TOTAL BULL:poop: if Florida makes it to the national title game after the way they lost tonight. If Texas loses it is going to get very interesting!!
  19. ROLL TIDE!!! one game to go
  20. cincy has one hell of a team that could play with anyone but it wont be enough to get them to the championship game
  21. that's kind of what i'm thinking. it sucks that i pretty much gave one away earlier this year.
  22. I was talking to my cousin earlier and he was saying how his 3D maglite was his home protection since he didn't have a gun. I told him that I wish I could I could afford to buy one for him when he told me "I'm not worried about that stuff happening". I responded by saying alot of people have that attitude until it's to late. He is not anti-gun just a little stupid I guess. With a wife and 3 children I think I would have something other than a flashlight. He is not rich but could easily afford something in the $300-$400 range but would rather have nice wheels on his car. I love him like a brother and will probably get him either a pistol or shotgun as soon as I can find something for a decent price.
  23. I hope this year doesn't turn out like last. Finish the regular season undefeated and then lose the last 2 games.
  24. yep, back to an alabama one. i support my team no matter what. i can't believe so many are voting for florida. neither team has been dominant so i see a good close game won by defense and special teams.
