some people may think i'm crazy but goats make good , outside, pets as well. my dad and i had some when i was young. they would follow us around like a puppy. i've thought about picking up a couple to clear out about a 1/2 acre of land behind my house.

I would choose a good fire rated safe, an alarm won't protect anything from a fire. A lot of people who get alarms never even turn them on after the new wears off.

found the following on the net referring to magtechs .380 +p ammo: "Keep in mind there are no SAAMI standards for +P .380 ammo. The maximum SAAMI pressure for standard .380 is 21,500 psi. pressure so I'd know what the Magtech puts out. It could be a bad lot or it's more than the LCP can handle although there have been no reports of problems shooting Buffalo Bore +P. Not sure what Ruger's take is going to be on this as they don't sanction the use of +P ammo in the LCP.
