  1. I know this is a little late since post was from last year, canning is a great way to preserve food. However, it’s not like freeze dried food that lasts years. You should rotate your stock to ensure freshness, generally the longest you should keep your canned food is around 18 months up to 24 months depending on the food. There are a lot of great resources available to reference, for these questions.
  2. Indoor does work for competitions and teaching courses. I see your point though indoor ranges can be loud as heck. I trained 20 years LE and QRF for nukes and DO prefer outdoor for training as it’s a more flexible environment.
  3. RR is a solid brand for 1911s my buddy had a couple. They are definitely tack drivers!!!
  4. They’re decent and a lot less than Colt or Remington…..I refrain from Kimber..lol
  5. Though not a ‘pocket rocket’ my go to is the Sig P229 Legacy
  6. Curious what you went with I have the exact same rifle and need glass for it. Love to hear your input.
  7. Question for those who have Glocks and Sigs. Shopping for IWB holsters which ones have worked well. Appendix carry and back. Which brands and styles work well.
  8. Used the Trijicon mini with a 3x on my Daniel Defense. Once it’s zeroed in it’s great to use but have back up irons and train with those as well in case of failure.
  9. Myself I have a StackOn cabinet that I put my extra mags in, in addition to my mags in the safe .
  10. READ —— If you’re looking for a gun safe do your due diligence. Take the time to research the different manufacturers. Look at fire rating, can it be secured to the foundation, plan for what you have now and future additions. If you have say 7 firearms look at least double the size, you’ll thank yourself later. Look at safes with interior hinges and cannot be pried open with a pry bar.
  11. Been to the store it’s nice, but haven’t used their range. I only shot at an indoor range once. Wasn’t my favorite experience. I’ve trained in outdoor settings and tactical courses. I find that best to fortify your skills. If you’re first learning firearm manipulation I guess that would suit.
  12. A lot of great info! I’m looking to starting and harvesting deer. Great info to reference. Anyone collect shed antlers?
  13. Thanks for the info! Moved here a few years ago from the desert and not of fan of these parasites.
  14. Hey all! Just relocated from AZ to the Spring Hill area. Quite a bit of firearms experience including LE and military. Law Enforcement advisor for films and weapons specialist. Happy to be here.
