You are absolutely right, but I would not be able to vote for either of the Rudy or Hillary. If it comes down to a race between the two of them we're screwed anyway. There are more differences in the Olsen twins than there are between Rudy and Hillary. And I don't want to sit through another GOP spend fest, I expect irresponsible spending from the democrats. When the GOP does it, it blurs the line even farther on their differences. This nation has moved so far to the left toward Socialism/Fascism/Communism that pure socialist are considered right wing. On the extreme far right you have people who respect individual rights and they have no representation in our current political system. The press keeps pushing that the left is socialist and the right is Fascist, the problem there is that they are exactly the same and came out of the socialist movement of the 1800's. This eliminates those that believe the philosophies from the enlightenment have value from the debate by excluding them from public view. I think Jefferson, Madison, Adams, Adam Smith and John Locke's idea should be praised and taught in schools but that wont happen anymore.

Why can't we have a UT coach that is not from Franklin County (Winchester/Cowan)? Johnny Majors and Phillip Fulmer are both raised in Franklin County. And no I am not proud of that. Up the middle three times and punt is not a winning strategy. -
Oh yeah, for centuries it was the majority scientific opinion that the world was flat. Majority never rules in science only research and the research that the press wont cover does not back up global warming thats why the enviro wackos are switching to "climate Change" because the data is shifting again to a cooling trend over all.

Yes, Al is a jerk. But the list of sources Crichton used is filled with the best scientific data available. The end of the book list everyone of them. You can poopoo him for being a fiction writer but if you read the research sources he has made the case that not only is Al and his bunch are jerks but they are also scientific propagandist lying through their teeth.

Umm, have you read Michael Crichton's State of Fear? Its a good story but it is also filled with actual scientific data that disproves the man-made global warming theory. Did you know that Paris has actually cooled over the past 100 years? Also on a side note look up the temperatures for Copper Basin, Tennessee and Chattanooga. Chattanooga has warmed 1 degree on average over fifty years and Copper Basin has cooled by one degree and they are less than 50 miles apart.
