I'm really glad I didn't buy a EMP. I was looking at getting the .40 but after reading all the horror stories, I'll pass. Way too many issues for a gun costing around $1000.00.

one in the chamber for sure.... what would you do if you went to rack the slide and the sucker failed to chamber the round.. at least if you have one in the chamber you have the chance to fire one round before using the gun as a hammer. In my opinion if your not going to keep a round in the chamber, leave it at home.

You are absolutly correct. Nobody is responsible for anything these days as it's either someone elses fault or a disorder of some type. There's not a single day goes by where I don't yell at the TV. Totally unbelieveable!

Both are good inexpensive guns. I've owned them both and if I had to choose one today it would be the bersa.

I would have gone but darn near 8 hours travel round trip... Ugh!

Ya'll are lucky, map shows 3 hours 48 mins for me. I'll not be showing my ugly mug there either. Way too far south for me.

S&W has lifetime warranty. Kahr is fine weapon too. I personally carry a PM40 but at ~600 they are sorta hard on the wallet.

+1 on the sigma but that is a full size gun. Not a carry item imho. I have had 3 of the latest taurus mil pro guns and they were all great weapons. under 400 they can't be beat. Yeah the op could save a little longer and get something better.. but under 400 is under 400. You'll be hard pressed to find anything NIB under 400 as reliable as the mil pro series.

Thanks. I heard this with the initial release but from what I hear they are working out all the bugs. No idea tho as I haven't shot one yet.

Anyone have an update on these? I saw a few at the show today and had to stick my hands down my pants to keep from walking out with one. I know I looked kinda funny but I was thinking the guy was a tad high on the price. I gotta tell ya.. it feels pretty darn good in the hand. and the looks aren't too shabby either... Just wondering if anyone has had more experience with them yet..
