  1. Your local mechanic might have some smaller grease drums or something. Can you still find a metal trash can?
  2. The link says any ammo purchased before March 2(, 2021 is not affected.
  3. I want a full report once you get it installed and running.
  4. What if I bought it from a scalper for a dollar a pop? Will I get my money back?
  5. I've probably had this one 15 years. Still works great. It does have a quirk or two, but once you figure those out, it is plenty accurate for general loading. There are certain numbers it will not display. I'll use 8.0 for example. It'll toggle between 7.9 and 8.1, but you simply cannot make it read 8.0. For my needs, 7.9 or 8.1 are plenty close. I would use something more accurate for competition. You also don't have much luck trickling into the pan while it's on the scale. To get the reading to change, you need to pick up the pan and set it back on the scale. I checked it for years against a beam scale. I finally convinced myself it was accurate.
  6. I have a beam scale. I bought a $20 Frankford Arsenal pocket scale from Midway just to see it in person. For years now, it's pretty much all I use. It's quick, easy, and accurate. I've become too lazy to drag out the beam scale. Dang! They've went up! That RCBS should be a good one.
  7. Happy Father’s Day to all! I’ve had a great one. My wife cooked am amazing dinner. Both my sons were here, and my parents as well. Dad is getting older, and time spent with him becomes more precious each day that passes. We had a great day. Here’s hoping you all did as well.
  8. I will add that you won’t likely get gunbroker prices selling locally. You also won’t have to fool with scammers, shipping, fees, ffls, etc.
  9. I have two neighbors with chickens. Every time I see either of them, I go home with an armload of egg cartons. That’s how I like to chicken farm!
  10. Gunbroker-20% would be a good place to start. I price what I sale for what I’d ideally like to get, then start discounting the price until someone bites. I put t back in the safe before I go below what I really want to sell it for.
  11. My condolences.
  12. Nearly matches your shoes.
  13. If there's no other reason to join TGO, and there are many, the craftsmen who offer their wares for sale here are more than reason enough to join. I have several of his knives and hope to have more in the future. No idea how he sells them so cheap, but I'm sure glad he does.
  14. Buy once, cry once. I'd advise as others have to save up and get what you want. I have two of them and they are great fun to shoot. I haven't ever known quality milsurp firearms to go down in value. A while back, I paid more than I would have ever dreamed for a nice 1911 A1. I'm glad I did. I've bought lots of junk through the years trying to save a buck, and rarely was I glad I did.
  15. Thanks for the report. That sounds almost encouraging.
  16. I figured that ten dollar admission was the barrier.
  17. I’m curious too. You’re closer than I am.
  18. That should be a prize!
  19. You’ve stumped me.
  20. Me too!
  21. Sort of. I’ll bet it’s chambered for 308 and is a model BM59. I sold a copy to a fellow member here. I think mine was marked Golden State Arms.
  22. You have all the cool toys! Can’t wait to see it.
  23. That’s about the bottom in today’s market.
  24. I’ll pass. The scenery here is quite pleasant for the most part.
  25. You are right. The Lightner Museum was quite impressive. I don’t care for the glassware, but everything else in there including the building it’s self was well worth seeing. I’m weird, but I really enjoyed the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum. It is in a castle.
