1. Practice. It's basically a bicycle you don't have to pedal.   Wear a helmet and good boots.
2. Looks about like what my boy is driving now.
3. If you are going to do that, I'll suggest you go on and get new calipers as well. For some reason, when you change the pads, the old ones are prone to leak afterwards on these Chevys.   You might at least verify the condition of the serpentine belt and hoses while you're in there.
4. I have friends who own KTMs. They are definitely competitive in hare scrambles, and sound as good to me as a vintage Martin guitar, but seem awfully high maintenance for a casual ride.
5. Mt. Juliet isn't in Middle Tennessee?
6. I'd get as small a bike as I could stand. Extra weight will cause fatigue quickly when trail riding. I had a 125 when I was a teen. Since I've gotten old and chubby, I'd go for a 250 or 350 now. Sorry. I didn't realize a trail style 2 stroke was still available. I grew up riding Yamaha Enduros. They were great in the woods; if a bit heavy. The CR 125 I had would be anyone's bike I rode with; even the 250s. It wasn't worth a nickle in the woods, however.
7. Depends on what you consider a bunch. :D
8. It's pretty. 4.25"?
9. Reloader's bench in mt. Juliet?
10. I have an 01 Silverado. Other than obvious maintenance, (oil changes, tires, brakes, etc.), I just drive it.
11. You know how a chainsaw has no power and fouls plugs if idled and barely ran? The motorcycles are the same. Run em wide open, or you'll have problems. A 2 stroke is great for racing, although most hare scramble and motorcross racers have now switched over to four strokes as well.
12. I never change transmission fluid and filter. Never had a problem due to it.
13. For lugging around in the woods, you'll want a 4 stroke engine. The two strokes are like chainsaw engines; all or nothing. I would also stay away from the dual sport bikes. They aren't very good for anything. Rough riding on the road, and geared too high for off road.   You won't go wrong with a Honda.   A CRF 250 would be a good place to start looking.
14. If you happen to run across one. I've found the Bausch and Lomb BalVar scopes and mounts to be of very high quality and of modest price.
15. This stuff was in a museum in a Cabela's store in Idaho. I'm not sure who actually owns the guns at this point.
16. No need to wait for spring to do that,
17. I guess since you put it that way, it's been a successful ploy for me so far with Smith and Wesson revolvers.   Carry on.
18. They look.....well........like every other Glock I've seen.
19.          http://jamesdjulia.com/373_shs/   How could a family, in good conscience, get rid of such history? :drama:   My wife wouldn't understand if I bought a rifle that costs more than her house.   I would settle for a copy of his book "Safari".
20. I'd like to, but I can't force myself to drill a hole in a 70 series Gold Cup.
21. The Opry will never be the same. I'm not sure I've ever been there when he wasn't.   I liked the one he told about mowing his yard. He said a well to do lady stopped and asked how much he was charging to mow the lawn he was mowing. He told her the lady in this house lets me sleep with her!
22. Looks like someone did a decent job restocking it.
23. Purely supposition on my part. I am simply repulsed by the sight of a rail on a handgun. I'm not a fan of the forward grip serrations either.
24. We could probably wait you out.   I know a man who's offered my son first dibs on his very nice Toyota Tacoma at a fair price. Problem is, that was about 6 months ago, and he'll not give a clue as to when he'll be ready to sell it.
25. As good a book as you'll ever read. A lot of it seems unbelievable, but people who knew him swear every word is true and then some.
