  1. I got a new pair of Red Wing Pecos 1155 work boots. http://www.redwingsh...l-on-boot-brown Guess I know where they plan on me going in the morning.
  2. I agree with the other posters here. Why spend the $ on a new piece of junk with the MIM parts and useless internal lock, when an original, quality piece can be had for less money?
  3. I know these were designed for a light target load; maybe 185 or 200 gr wadcutters? So far, I've put a 16lb spring in mine and have been firing 230 grain ball ammo. I now have a set of dies and would like to load the correct load for the gun with the factory spring. Any ideas on where to start?
  4. Deer Roast 1 Medium deer roast cut into serving size pieces 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 Pack Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix. Season Salt Garlic Salt Soy Sauce Worchestershire Sauce 1 Medium Onion Sliced Place raw, washed meat into crock pot. Sprinkle generously with season salt, garlic salt, worchestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Add oinon soup mix and cream of mushroom soup. Stir, and place sliced onions on top. Cook on low 6-8 hours. Got one in the crock pot now!
  5. Ypu! That's a "P". Illinois State Penal System? Park Service?
  6. They are cool, if unconventional looking guns. I never cared for the rib, but like the rest of it. It is the same action with the same dogleg bolt as the xp100 pistol.
  7. I love Ron Paul. It just seems the majority of Armyvet's posts are links to some wingnut website video. Ron Paul lost!!! I'd like to see him wrap his head around that and have a normal conversation with us.
  8. Is it akin to emery cloth? WTH is mostaccioli?
  9. I've met several fine people who are members of this board.
  10. Perhaps you'd be better served by a Ron Paul forum than a gun forum.
  11. Give it up guys! Romney is the candidate foisted upon us by the Republicans. Politics and politicians suck. Deal with it!
  12. The model 94 Winchester is a fine gun. Can't believe you'd post this without pictures! I'm not sure how you'd go about learning the particular gun's history. To answer your other question, I've owned several, and shot them quite a bit. I'm not sure what your asking about doing or not doing. Shoot it, keep it clean, and enjoy it. People who say lever guns aren't accurate haven't had any experience with pre 64 Winchesters. I have one now that will shoot MOA groups with the factory open sights. That's as good as I am able to do with any rifle.
  13. Chicken on a Can Ingredients: 1 dead and plucked chicken 1 12 pack of your favorite beer salt pepper Directions: Preheat grill to 350-375. Salt and pepper chicken well, Open 1 beer and take a big swallow. Shove beer, upright, into rear orifice of bird, and place both onto grill so that chicken sets upright on beer. Close grill. When you finish off the other 11 beers, your chicken is ready. Don't forget to turn off grill!!!
  14. I've ordered regularly from Midway for years, but there was something I wanted they didn't carry, and I found Graf to have the best price, so I placed my first order with them. They charges a flat handling fee of around $5, and no separate shipping fee. Shipping was also fast. All in all I was impressed with this company. I'm sure many of you order from them, but thought I'd post my experience.
  15. Yeah! That is a great deal!
  16. http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/browse/shooting-black-powder-black-powder-accessories/_/N-1100207/Ns-CATEGORY_SEQ_104218380?WTz_l=SBC%3BMM%3Bcat104701680 Believe it or not, Cabela's has some pretty attractive prices on holsters.
  17. Sir, the TSA agent would like you to step out of the line please.
  18. So, should I only hunt deer with factory ammo in case I have a dispute about some regulation with the game warden? Should I only let the dealer change the oil in my car in case I am involved in an accident? The article is ridiculous. I'd like to read of a real world example where handloaded ammunition was the determining factor in a shooting trial.
  19. I guess people could text at 85mph as well as 70mph.
  20. Good deal!!!! Today is also my anniversary. She's tolerated me for 17 years! Nobody else could do that.
  21. I read the stories in each link you provided, and found not one hint of the political leanings of any of these nutjobs. I guarantee the Huffington post would have printed any connection to the guy in their story to any conservative organization they could find. As another member posted in another thread here, it appears the left isn't all too happy with Obama either: http://washington.cbslocal.com/2012/06/08/liberals-threaten-not-to-vote-in-november-over-disappointment-with-obama/
