  1. I'd look at one of the Nashville suburbs. Dickson, Gallatin, Clarksville, Columbia, etc. Not in Nashville, but a lot of retail opportunities. Anything would beat Memphis!
  2. That is the way I see it. I do not understand how anyone with a legal background, like most politicians, could make anything else of it.
  3. I would prefer to see companies like Magpul stick to manufacturing and stay out of politics to the extent they can.
  4. I like this one.
  5. I respond to respect with the same.
  6. I thought it was anything beyond a $7500 bank transaction that got you looked at by the feds.
  7. Not a law; it is respect. Something something probably foreign to anyone from Missouri.
  8. L-E-U-P-O-L-D Lifetime warranty. Made in U.S.A. Good quality.   I buy a lot of used Leupold scopes. A Vari X II 3-9 would likely suit your needs just fine. An m8 4x is my favorite, and I have several of them.
  9. Someone owes someone a nice cabin and contents. Were that my cabin, the police would probably need to shoot me as well.
  10. That makes it a quite rare and valuable piece. I'd clean it to the point rust won't be eating it any further, and wax it with Renniasance wax. Be careful and patient using a correct sized gunsmith's screwdriver disassembling and reassembling it. Thanks for sharing it with us. I like the old stuff!
  11. So if you came home and saw several guys pushing your new car off a cliff, would you jump in and help them push, just so you'd all be on the same page?
  12. You'd be correct, sir.   They were towing the boat back, and the tow line broke. They've really got their ### together, huh? Wouldn't you keep a spare line on a tugboat?
  13. Jimmy Carter is quite pleased that he is no longer the worst president in the history of the country.
  14. My wife drug me on one of those cruises a few years back. I seriously considered getting a flight back from Mexico instead of riding the boat back, and everything was going smoothly on our trip. I'm certain had I been on this one, I would have jumped already.
  15. You can sell it, but don't expect to get a fortune for it. To my knowledge, no major ammo manufacturer currently offers a 190 grain load in 303 Savage. There are a few companies who still sell 150 grain loads.
  16. When I find myself in a quandry such as this, I like to err on the side of caution and get both.
  17. Yup. That's what the trigger is for.
  18. I don't know about the "State of The Union", but I believe the "State of Joe Biden" last night was DRUNK! Did you see him with that stoned smirk on his face the entire time? He would occasionally burst out in laughter while sitting there, for no apparent reason. This guy is one heartbeat away from the Presidency? Unreal.
  19. Obama wants a vote? Let's put the repeal of the second amendment to a vote. Any other vote would be unconstitutional.
  20. All you need to do is to remove the bell you put on the mouth of the case before loading the round. Most semi autos headspace on the case mouth, so you don't want a heavy crimp. I adjust my bullet seater die to do this.
  21. Is there really a reason to crimp them if I have sufficient neck tension? I've loaded scads of 223/556 that I've resized, without crimping, and have had good results.   The powder charge is a compressed load, so setback would be hard to do. I can't move the bullets forward with finger pressure.
  22. How bout in Tennessee we keep our guns.....just in case she's wrong?
  23. You could go with something like this:http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/52677-model-70-winchester-ranger-30-06/?hl=%2Bwinchester+%2Branger, and have a LOT of money left for optics, ammo, etc.
  24. Winchester large pistol primer are marked "standard and magnum". I would be surprised if there is much difference in other brands.
  25. Should come from the shooters' pockets; not the taxpayers.
