If you can reliably hit a man sized target at 15 yards, and do so without pointing your gun at the instructor or any of the other students, you'll ace the test.

ANother vote for the tuckable IWB holster. Pocket carry is another viable option. -

I haven't. Wouldn't you suppose I could make pretty much the same holster, only an inch and a half shorter? I only have a full size 1911 to use for a mold. I've done that with good results for OWB panckae holsters. See what I mean?

I've loaded a few rounds, but 223 is cheap enough I usually just buy it loaded.

I bought one of the Frankford Arsenal ones from Midway. At the time, they were on sale fot less than $20. So far, I am amazed at the accuracy of it. -
Oh, I love going into pawn shops. You never know what you'll find in there. I was just amazed at this one particular pawn shop.

The only gun I ever bought at Dick's was a Chipmunk 22 for my youngest son. It was on sale for $70. If you can beat that, I'll buy some more.
