    Question...

If I had a business, I'd probably charge cops double, but I don't like cops. To answer your question, you'd be fine to give one a discount if you desired, but I think it is classless, bordering on prostitution for one to ask for or demand a discount.
  3. I ran another doe through my grinder today, mixed with some beef fat. I haven't eaten any yet, but it looked good. I would suggest an electric grinder to any of you who've comtemplated processing their own meat. There's not much to it, except for a little time, and I'm already saving a bundle compared to taking the deer to a commercial processer.
  4. To be clear, paper hulled shells are still available today.
  5. Does she like Cajun food? If so, take here to Steamboat Bill's. It's a long story, but I'll starve before I ever go back to Cherokee!
  6. Same thing.
  7. Here's the route I'm about to try. I'll let you know how it turns out. I have several handguns no one makes holsters for. I'm left handed to boot.
  8. Never thought of that!!??!?
  9. Here's my favorite. Not sure what the AH stands for though.
  10. I've never had a problem.
  11. Sounds high to me.
  12. +1 on the bullet puller. It is the reloader's eraser. It is a necessity.
  13. I've had good luck with Sam in Gallatin. He's in the building with Asherbranner's Pawn Shop. Don't look around there long, or they'll sell you some more guns!
  14. Now you'll have some extra money, an excuse to go to the hardware store and buy some new tools, and you'll be the hero for repairing the oven. As long as you unplug before working on it, I don't see where you could go wrong!!!! You call it a catostrophy, I call it an opportunity.
  15. We have several military members among us. They have a legit use for the ar15/m16 platform. Thank God it is available to them. To the rest of you, how often do you go around mowing down humans? The attitude of some of the people I talk to on gun forums scares me. I don't disagree that we have the right to own these, and I'm hope that everyone who wants one owns one. Wanting one is a plenty good reason for having one. All this SHTF talk is just that, however, TALK! I imagine most of you are like me; when the SHTF, it'll also hit your drawers. Do you really think you are going to outgun the U.S military? How many Rambo movies have you watched?
  16. Makes you wonder how many are antis looking for ammunition to use against us. Yes, I AM wearing my tinfoil hat.
  17. Mine is 41-1/2" tall. That sounds high, but seems about right if you are standing or sitting on a barstool.
  18. Sweet!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I made my top out of 2x4 lumber as well.
  20. The 44 Special can be fired in a 44 Magnum. It is about 1/8 inch shorter. The 44 Magnum makes a lot bigger boom. You can't fire the 44 Magnum in a 44 Special. Elmer Keith was the father of the 44 Mag. He loved to load the 44 Special to ever higher velocities. This should only be done in certain guns that are stronger than most others. I wouldn't recommend it, however.
  21. Like David said, He specializes in shotgunning sports, but has a large selection of rifles, handguns, reloading supplies, safes, hunting equipment, etc. But it is THE shotgun place in the midsouth.
  22. That's a 3 position, Winchester style safety. I'm not sure what brand, as several companies produce them. I think the rifle was probably an 8mm of to start. I believe it may have been Mexican in descent.
  23. President Hanson was the 3rd President of the United States in Congress Assembled, not the first. He was preceded by Samuel Huntington (1st) and Thomas McKean (2nd). On my website, johnhanson.net, I have an image of the letter signed by Hanson as President thanking Thomas McKean for serving as President. The picture utilized on the website is John Hanson who was not a Black Moor. For more go to uspresidency.com. There is even some controversy as to the ethnicity of John Hanson. This is very interesting. I thank all of you for bringing this to light.
  24. Thanks. I was unaware of that.
