If you are buying under the LE/Military program you have to buy from a Glock Law Enforcement Dealer to get these prices. The price for a fullsize, compact or subcompact 9mm, .40 or .357 with fixed sights is $398.00 a fullsize, compact or subcompact .45 or 10mm is $464.00. .45GAP is $414.00. Craig's Firearms is the only Glock Law Enforcement Dealer in Tennessee. http://www.craigsfirearms.com/ http://us.glock.com/dealer-locator

You might try looking for an NRA education and training course http://www.nrainstructors.org/searchcourse.aspx if you don't have a local firing range that offers training.

I tried to order one of the 226's from Sarco. I called in late November when I saw the ad. They said they had plenty of them but they didn't have any magazines. They said they would have the magazines in about two weeks. I called back about three weeks later, still no magazines. Our conversation went like this: Me: Would consider selling one without a magazine for $20 less? Sarco: No, we are not selling any of them without magazines. Me: Do you know when you will have the magazines? Sarco: No Me: I will give you my phone number. Would you please call me when you can sell one. I am very interested. Sarco: Yes, I will call you when the magazines arrive and we are ready to sell the pistols. I am still waiting on the call. In January I gave up and bought one on Gunbroker. I guess the magazines finally arrived.

I don't think that any dealer would offer you a used Glock 22 and $200.00 for a used XDm. A used Gen 2 Glock 22 sales for $300.00 and up. A used Gen 3 Glock 22 sales for $350.00 and up. These are the prices from wholesalers (like Express Police Supply, GT Distributors, etc.) who buy them directly from law enforcement agencies. If another dealer purchases an LE trade in Glock from a wholesaler to sell in their store the price that they pay would be close to this so expect to pay a little more. A new XDm 40 sales for about $550.00. I would imagine a dealer might offer you an even trade or if you are lucky maybe a used Glock 22 + $50.00. I imagine a dealer would sale a used XDm 40 in great condition for between $450.00 and $500.00 on the high end. Personally, if I wanted to get rid of an XDm for a Glock 22. I would sell the XDm to a private party and then buy a used Glock 22. You would get more for the XDm and it's easier to negotiate with cash in hand. For LE trade in guns in Knoxville check http://www.craigsfirearms.com/ They buy Glocks directly from law enforcement agencies.

Sig 2022 hands down. It is definitely worth spending $100 more. Sig Sauer makes awesome handguns !

Like you said this is a known problem. The #8 follower, according to the Glock parts list, will only fit in magazines that had a factory supplied follower of 6, 7, or 8. Glock 22 magazines come with 10 coil magazine springs. If you have a tac light mounted on your pistol you need an 11 coil magazine spring (part # SP02551). My parts list is a couple of years old so they may have an updated part number. Call Glock, (770) 432-1202, and tell the operator you need to speak with someone in warranty service. Explain the problem and tell them how many mags you have. The worst case scenario is that they will send you new followers and springs if you ask nicely. The best case scenario is that they may send you a new mag. If you put the 11 coil spring in your mag that may fix the problem. Make sure you have your pistol's serial number when you call. Parts orders from Glock generally take between 2 and 6 weeks to come in. If you are impatient you can also buy the magazine springs here http://www.gunsprings.com/index.cfm?page=items&cID=1&mID=5#148 part #75271 If you have any problems send me a PM. I have already talked to Glock Warranty Service twice this week. Remember that Glock wants your pistol to work properly and for you to be a happy customer.

Old Shotgun Repair and Pricing Questions.
Karnage replied to wewoapsiak's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
1) I would say $200 for bluing a long gun is about right. If that quote was just for the barrel it might be a little high. You can buy the stock yourself here Stock, Plain Hardwood, w/ Buttplate for $72.55. For a shop to charge $100 for the stock is not out of line especially if that includes installation. 2) The cold bluing kits that you buy in the store will not even compare to a quality hot bluing job. 3) The forend should not come off like that. I would guess that the spring that holds the forend is worn out. It is part #33 on the schematic here Numrich Gun Parts Corp. - The World's Largest Supplier of Firearms Parts and Accessories and is $4.90 to replace. The trigger guard is part #28 and is $12.30 to replace. If you decide to order parts from Numrich you can call Numrich's order line (866.686.7424) and press 1 they will give you a code to receive free shipping if you hang up and order from the website. -
The only way that you could do this is to change out the upper receiver. The places to connect the dust cover and insert the forward assist are forged in the receiver when it is made. This receiver does not have those options.

I had them do 2 HK USP's for me in August. They had them done in less than 2 weeks. In the past I have had to wait 2 to 3 months. Their wait time just depends on how much work they have at the moment. Their website says that you can call them and make a reservation now. That might be a good idea. They do great work. It is definitely worth the wait.

Numrich Gun Parts Corp. - The World's Largest Supplier of Firearms Parts and Accessories It looks like they have the pins in stock. If you call Numrich's order line (866.686.7424) and press 1 they will give you a code to receive free shipping if you hang up and order from the website. Numrich is sold out of the triggers but they list the same product number (1179460) for the PT145, PT140, PT111, PT138 and PT132. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Search.aspx?filter=1179460 I vote that you buy a Glock !

Well, I found a slide catch spring for you. Numrich Gun Parts Corp. - The World's Largest Supplier of Firearms Parts and Accessories I had a PT140 and a PT111. Luckily I never had an issue with either one but I had noticed parts were virtually non existent. Good Luck.

Do this. I have used a program called get data back to get information from hard drives that have suffered mechanical failures and drives that cannot be detected by an operating system. It usually works. I think that you should be able to retrieve at least some of your data from the drive. Send me a PM and I will give you more information.

I had to send my P3AT back to KelTec a couple of years ago. It had a problem with sporadic extraction of spent cases from the chamber. When they returned it the only parts that were not brand new were the barrel and the internal frame. Their customer service made me a happy customer.

I converted my USP 45 from variant 3 to LEM. I like the LEM better than DA/SA. Speaking from experience, if you do the conversion yourself take a picture of the position of the sear, disconnector, etc before disassembly. If I hadn't had another USP to look at I don't know if I would have ever gotten it put back together. I bought my parts from HK Specialist - Product Display for $79.95. But, it looks like they are out of stock right now.

Refinishing options for small parts
Karnage replied to graycrait's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
They do excellent work. They have done several guns for me and I have always been pleased. -
They must have realized their mistake today. $15.96 for Glock mags after the discount was super cheap. It's cheaper than I can buy them from the factory as an armorer. I have ordered from Botach several times in the past and had good experiences.

My pick from the beginning was Mike Hughes. I think that it is between him and Dustin. I would also like to see Dustin win. He seems like a nice guy. I am just glad it is not going to be Jake.
