Back on to the off topic-topic..... Me & The Wife are both going to the Body Farm after we croak. Everything gets to chow down on a bit of Robbie & science get's a helping hand (and all the other bits too) If they'll take me without all the good, donatable bits, so much the better. Seems like a natural way to do it, seeing as it's illegal to just dump my carcass in the woods.

It's very old, worn & beaten, the handle is bent. I never borrow or lend tools & practically no-one had ever been in my shop. It's just a mystery.

Seriously? Texas Knife Supply has bunches of mastodon Ivory, Walrus, Seacow & occasionally Hippo ivory too This stuff's worth a look too. In the UK it's called Elforyn. But if they're not taking away your personal freedoms, just their own, why the problem? There are fanatics in all religions, (well, maybe not Bhuddists) the 1% that lend the rest to stereotyping. Back in England I lived in a very high Muslim/Christian ratio population & to be honest, I never, ever had a problem with any of them, nor did I hear of anyone havin trouble with them. My nearest major city has over 300 Mosques (Bradford) & almost zero trouble from Muslims (Or for that matter, Sikhs, Hindus or Jains) I'm not a religious person at all, but I admire those that have Belief in whatever form it may take. I just wish that everyone could be more tolerant of each other's beliefs & opinions.

I offer a sharpening service for all knives I have made & get a lot of requests for sharpening from friends, hunting buddys & frieds of friends. I've been sharpening freehand on japanese waterstones for 15 years & I can pretty much get anything shaving sharp this way, but since I got the KME system I can guarentee my angles are always consistent & I can do the job in ½ the time. Definately worth the money.

And people ask me why we moved here.... As complicated as it sounds on paper to own any kind of firearm in the UK, the reality is far, far tougher. Even Air rifles are strictly regulated. The legal limit for any air-weapon to be held without a firearms licence is 12ft/lb. That's about 2/3rds the power of anything Walmart sells. Any police officer has the right to confiscate ANY air rifle, to be tested (at their leisure) for power output. Even if th rifel is underthe legal limit, but the testing officer can modify it to shoot over the limit by any means the rifleis deemed to be illegal & you will be arrested for possession of a section 5 firearm. The paranoia surrounding guns or shooting in the UK, even out in the country where I'm from, is astounding. I gave up telling people about my hunting trips to the US, Africa, Europe & Australia years ago, simply because I got sick of justifying & defnding myself to others. Seriously, I cannot express how grateful I am for having the opportunity to move here & enjoy the freedoms you guys have. Please don't ever take them for granted!
