  1. I put a magpul gen 4 and added a Barska 1x30 dot sight on it. I've put about 300 rounds through it and it rocks.
  2. Anyone else bought one? I picked one up last week thinking it might be OK as a platform to build on, but after the first 100 rounds without a single issue, I'm pretty happy with it.
  3. I came across a good supply of Hogdon Longshot and Hogdon does have a load listed on their data sheet for 45. Anyone tried it?
  4. My appologies to those who's feelings I may have hurt.
  5.   Wow! Last time I was there it was in fine shape. This is what happens when we let kids like you guys in.
  6. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad there is still a club in Dickson, and I wish you all well and much success. I might even come play sometime. DVC, my brothers.
  7. Whatever you guys have or want to say to make yourselves feel better. Go for it. We built that entire range. Both sides. You're welcome.
  8. Nice range, isn't it? Built by North TN Practicle Shooters.
  9. Citadel's are made by Armscor/Rock Island. Very decent 1911 for the money and very good customer service.
  10. Anyone tried the Impact Guns +1 mag extension?
  11. Just ordered a Powder River Precision trigger kit for my XDs .45. Will report my findings after install.
  12. Although you are under no requirement in Tennessee to advise the LEO, many appreciate the gesture and will thank you for it. A few years back I was on my way home from work on the 4th of July and was doing 68 in a 50. Ooops! Got pulled over in a small town notorious for writing a ticket for even a couple of mph over the limit. I kept my hands where the officer could see them and gave him my permit with my DL and POI. He gave me a warning because he said he appreciated my being nice and helpful. Saved me a pile of cash.
  13. 147gr Winchester Silvertip loaded to +p
  14.   That would be a choice you can make, or not. Reducing the striker spring weight by, I believe it was, one pound, from 6 to 5, is perfectly safe on a well maintained carry. I used reduced weight mains in USPSA competition for years. It comes down to round count. Keep track and replace.   The only reason I posted my reply is because I have done this and found it to be safe in my Kahr.
  15. Tim is a really good guy. I've known him and shot with him for years at NTPS. He'll do you right.
  16. On the Kahr you can do two things. One is order a lower weight striker spring from Wolff Gunsprings. It will reduce the trigger pull by a pound, maybe. The other thing is to remove the striker spring and clean out the spring channel of any metal from the machining process. Kahr does a good job, but metal shavings get left behind.
  17. I've been hearing ads for CCWsafe.com on Sat radio. Any thoughts or experience on the service they offer?
  18. Thanks TJ. Their holsters look pretty nice. I'll give them a try.
  19. The early Nano's had extractor issues. Beretta has since beefed up the extractor. I bought mine in April and it has been 100% flawless. I would contact BUSA.
  20. Anyone here had any issues with Extreme Concealment Systems out of Atlanta? I ordered a holster for my Beretta Nano in early May and have yet to receive it. They calim 4 to 6 weeks for delivery and well, it's been over 10 weeks with no response from them. They don't answer their phone, either.
  21. If a doc asks, and they have, I tell them they have crossed an out of bounds area.. Doc's freak when you advise them that they are committing a boundary violation.
  22. I don't believe Kevin is a gun owner or a permit holder. I think he is an Obama loving infiltrator. Terrorist caught outside of the US have no right to be subject to US civil laws.
  23. So you are from Illinois AND you have a CCW permit?? Unusual combination. I didn't think you could get one of those in the land of Obama.
