  1. I've been thinking the same thing.
  2. If not for control, the entire NFA is useless.
  3. http://www.robertsoncountyarc.org/ Since you are in Robertson county, you might try these guys.
  4. First pistol I ever owned was a security six exactly like this one except stainless. Great pistols!
  5. my old brain isn't what it used to be. isn't that from the Harley dealership in Kodiak at the interstate?
  6. I am not any shape or form an expert on the m-14, but I don't think it was ever chambered in 30-06. The m-1 garand was, but not the m-14.
  7. Only problem is they would have to give an ffl to anyone that requests one even without a store front. (criminals excluded)
  8. If there are several people in the Nashville area that would like to get together most weekends, I would be more than glad to help you with a class. I am a general class operator.
  9. Depends on what you want to do with the wood. I also am a hobby wood worker, making pens, bowls, other relatively small things. You can dm me if you would like to chat more. There is a wood turning guild in Nashville and Woodcraft also has classes in Franklin, Tn.
  10. I love photography and at the time, I was shooting with a Mamiya RB67.
  11. I am not knowledgeable in that stuff, but I always thought it was done for better grip.
  12. Or, possibly, gummy oil in the firing pin channel. Weak hammer spring is possible if someone has tried to do a back yard trigger job (ie... didn't know what they were doing). Personally, I would take bolt out of rifle and give through cleaning and light lube. Then retry. I am leaning to agree with RED333, very good possibiity of binding springs.
