I do have some other handguns that fit the higher capacity larger caliber category in both 9mm and .45. Hence those bases are covered. Might even add a 10mm one of these days. I don't know that I would have purchased the 2.0 without first trying one. The range I frequent has lots of items for rent. I also tried the Sig 365XL. The BG 2.0 fit me well, I shot it well and it was accurate for something for up close and personal use. Not real impressed with the sights but if I get serious with it I'd go the laser route anyway. Capacity and weight wise loaded it's hard to beat. I don't know if it will end up in the carry rotation yet as It has to prove itself. I'm certainly not put off with the .380 ACP performance. It might be 100 fps short, but as far as penetration and expansion diameter it seems adequate. My winter carry (TN) and favorite is a M&P 340 (5 rounds +P) and summer (hot climates) Seecamp .380. A few years ago Massad Ayoob started talking about 5-6 rounds not being enough in a shootout. I don't disagree, and hard to argue with the logic. Got me thinking about what was still carryable (don't leave home etc) with a higher capacity. One of my early carries was the Kahr PM 9 but even it is round limited by higher capacity standards. Until I get through breaking in the BG 2.0 it's still something else. My Wife likes Her Byrna Launcher. Seems right for Seattle, Portland, Madison and other anti-Oligarchy States. And in the motorhome. Oh and I forgot to add the BERSA CC in 380. Sort of liking this VNSH holster these days.

Tried a 380ACP S&W Bodyguard 2.0 at the Range recently. Liked it so well I purchased one. Plenty of .380 rounds meet the FBI Protocol these days. 10 and 12 round magazines. Light at 9 ounces. fits my medium hands well. Minimum recoil, easy slide operation. Any holster recommendations? Handgun Self-Defense Ammunition - Ballistic Testing Data

My apologies for the late reply. I am busy with some family guests. Is there somewhere convenient we can meet so you can take a look at the A5? I'll text you next.

I recently rented a Glock 29 Gen 4 10mm Compact. The recoil wasn't any worse than my compact .45. The challenge is getting back on target quickly due to muzzle flip. Price on the 10mm S&W 4 inch is favorable and with the rebate they have going on through April makes it very tempting.

Revolvers just have such history and technology/materials has improved over the years make them a great carry option. My winter carry is a revolver. My Woods Gun is a revolver. I like hunting for them as a collector.

I purchased two when they were introduced. He neglected to mention they came in three finish levels. My offer is the "platinum" finish level. They are interesting to shoot. Recoil is more a "pushback" as opposed to barrel flip. Faster shot recovery time.
