  1. Yep. Whatever address you have on your license. Order up and start waiting at the door. It will be like Christmas
  2. +1 Kind of mind your own yard before you start thinking about your neighbors. Domestic policy is always put on the back burner to foreign policy. Regardless of the campaign promises.
  3. This is no longer a debate on open OC vs CC its a dissagreement that should be done through PM's. You forget that anyone can read these forums and it's making the whole lot look like fools.
  4. I just see myself launching golf balls off the steep hill behind my parents house 500 yards away into the Calfkiller. And of course one of dumb friends out there with a catchers mitt
  5. Japan is effectively in a police state. That some recommend a National Police force for the US is chilling. Those same people seem to forget that a government with total power will not always see the way that they do. Everyone would eventually be in the crosshairs. Ever seen the movie "V for Vendetta"?

    Big South Fork

It is technically against the rules to harm or remove anything from a National Recreation Area. If you wanted to stay closer head down here to the Bridgestone Firestone WMA here in White County. You could contact the ranger there and he would probably help you find the bugs.
  7. Well Galco makes the Cannon Summer Special but if you want custom go with the Milt Sparks Pocket Mortar with Emu leather
  8. I've been doing some searching and there's lots of these things out there at varying prices. blackpowder barrels It just sounds like way to much fun And no class III. It's just like big black powder rifles
  9. CANNON SHOWCASE Need i say more?
  10. What do you think happens when the Govmunt has a huge share in a company? They will use whatever means necessary to increase the business. Even if that means belittling a "foreign" company that gives jobs to thousands of Americans. Same thing is going on with the banks that were bailed out. It was never about letting companies that were "too big to fail" be bailed out. It has always been about control.
  11. Check out Barska. I've had good results with them. Both with heavy recoil (308 and 7mm mag) and light stuff like 233
  12. I just picture some FMJ round bouncing around the sub like it was a cartoon.
  13. I need a belt holster for my Streamlight TLR-3 when I don't have it attached to my gun. Something leather would be nice or I could deal with cordura. Any options out there? I couldn't find anything in my searching

I need to buy a gun

+1 on the Hi-point. Mine never gave me any problems
  16. Mine was a Spanish 38 with some strange proof marks that I could never identify. I bought it before I knew what to look for. It had a huge cylinder gap. I would guess that it bordered on an 1/8" or more. I fired it a few times but the flames that came out of the front of the cylinder scared me off of it.
  17. Do you have a pic of the gun? Does it look like this?
  18. Could you separate the slide from the frame? That would render in completely inopperable.
  19. I just talked to him and he said that if you have seen they sign and proceed anyway you are violating policy and are no longer welcome at the establishment. At that point you could be charged with trespassing if the owner wanted to. If the sign is reasonably posted and you claim to not have seen it that would just be a defense technique that may or may not work. It would really be up to the establishment and how hard they would want to press the issue. He said for sure if you made a scene about it you would asking for more charges. Best advice he said is just like others have said on here. If you see the sign, find another place to shop.
  20. Good question for a lawyer. I'll ask my buddy who's a lawyer in Cookeville and see what he says.
  21. What i did was stick the patch into it while it was on the end of the cleaning rod. When I picked up the rod the patch grabbed the lip and over it went. Nothing I could do at that point.
  22. I soaked as much as I could up onto a few old tshirt rags and sat them down. She immediently picked them up and sat them outside. I knew better than to get mad and tell her that I was about to wring them out to save the Hoppes!
  23. Followed your advice and used some hot soapy water and that did the trick. The room is still slightly pungent but that should clear out by the morning. Guess I'm headed back to the store for another bottle though. I just bought it this afternoon. It was practically full. Yeah I'm married and at this point she just rolls her eyes at me. She's been with me long enough to be used to this type of stuff.
  24. I've had my license for three years and have never been contacted by the ATF other than the occasional update letter. I guess they aren't near as concerned about us C&R folks as they are the Type 01 holders
