DMark replied to rstandley's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
John, Get ready to call me a "Gamer!" I have a N Frame that fits the BUG box, is 38oz., with a 3.00 inch barrel. :dirty: Heck, the new rulebook even allows the Safariland CD-2 Speedloader Holders now. -
Armed citizens guarding recruitment centers - legal?

Reckon you'll just have to trust that they can speak dari. من امریکا هستم. ساقه. انشاالله. "I am an America. Don't Shoot. God Willing!" Hmmmm..., Dolomite_supafly, thanks for posting the picture because it reminds me that I need to go efile another Form 1. -
10MM - - - YES!!!!!!! :woohoo: I get to post my favorite cartoon.......
-
Oh Yea Great News. Gee, Thanks Mike! Between you and 173rdABN - - - I can only hope that the ATF's efile site is never hacked...., for fear that "She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed" would find out how fast my "stamp collection" is growing! Therefore, I'll just post to this thread to make sure I'm aware of any updates so as not to be uniformed. Don't wish to be surprised by any temptation that could lead to an impulse buy. But..., Ahhhhh...., how much of a "diverse selection" from the Silencershop are you referring to? You know, just for some innocent consideration.

Well......, Barry Hussein is going to address the VFW convention in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. I trust the membership in attendance will take him to task over his lack of Leadership!

Hey broox, These are Colt carry handles. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_159/1444642_WTS_Used_Colt_carry_handles___update_to_include_paypal.html Even with a little wear, $30 plus shipping is a heck of a buy!

Looking for KYDEX maker in Nashville area
DMark replied to DMark's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
This discussion has been real helpful, it caused me to do some forum searching. I kept thinking that I had read some earlier forum postings about a KYDEX maker in Murfreesboro. Yup - - - Leatherneck Tactical Concealment. Back when they first came up on TGO, they were only on Facebook - - - Since I don't Facebook that was a non-starter. They now have a website. http://leathernecktactical.com/home.html I plan on contacting them and MTO Holster with my idea for the mag holder that I need. Whoever can take my business first is who I will try. I'll update this thread with my results. Mark -

Stage Four..., The Shoot House! Think I'll bring something from my "stamp" collection. :dirty: -
Wow...., Just WOW! :stunned: Talk about one big Failure-To-Do-Right flaming A-Hole! I trust this isn't somebody we often shoot with. AND - - - For the Record, it wasn't me. I haven't shot an IDPA match in Mississippi since the National Championships were held in that state way back in the late 90s!
-
Well you can almost see where this is heading...... A Named & Standing arbitration team required for all Tier 2 and above matches. When they included an Appeals section in the IDPA rulebook, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Sounds like HQ is getting ready for all of the Range Lawyers with their Butt-Hurt Bitching just like the way it happens at Camp Perry during the National Matches."
-
Not to bash MAGPUL because I run a lot of their stuff, but PMAGs have been known to have issues in tight mag wells. The newer M3s are slimmer seem to be better, but the older Gen 2 MOE PMAGs will sometimes stick and hang up. See if you can find a USGI mag and give it a try.
-
Are you using USGI or something like a PMAG?

Seersucker for summer weight match wear only. Rattlesnake belts always count for cool points!

I think that anybody who plans on playing around with ARs should just go ahead and buy a couple of these "OH-SH*T" spare part packets. I keep one in my vehicle and another one feeds into my bench stock. I guarantee that if you don't have these spares, you'll be posting on this forum late at night asking if anybody has extras! :ugh:

I would have gotten at least two re-shoots at Manchester this past Sunday if mental mistakes allowable!

Agree! In the beginning of IDPA the focus was strong local clubs and their matches. It was an environment to practice your conceal carry skills. Today I feel its now driven by outside money looking to sponsor larger events in order to have an advertisement venue for their products. This is the reason I no longer will SO a sanctioned match. Somebody trying to get a match-bump to Sharpshooter, bitching you out over a cover call that you made (which the 75 - 100+ other shooters didn't have a problem with) is not my idea of good sportsmanship. Yes. For the Pro Shooters. Once IDPA allowed sponsored shooters in its matches with their colorful NASCAR Shirts (It was once forbidden in IDPA to even wear a T-Shirt with a firearm industry logo) the focus shifted to these folks - - - just look at the IDPA website. These Pros make money (cash bonus) from their sponsorships when they win or place in a sanctioned match. The higher Tier the match is, the bigger the payout.
