Thnx for starting this thread and those who responded: I'd been also thinking of a 10mm for hiking, seeing as I sometimes go really deep backwoods and alone. Wanted it for upright, sentient bipeds, but also for larger mammals that might consider me a snack. Now y'all are making me rethink that a 45 might be enough, plus I'm a better shot at that than the 10--could always practice, though. Anyhoo, thanks for getting this topic going!

Thx for posting these pics as a reminder. One could bet that the good folks of TGO are not going to ever forget the sacrifices that were and are being made for our country. I have many memories of listening for hours on end to stories told by vets in my family. Sadly most of 'em are now gone, but their memories will be passed on, as you've done here for us as well. Thanks for ALL the vets out there!

I started out with 2 guns thinking that would do me, now up to 5 and have a wishlist totalling around 10 more now!!! Too bad I don't have $$$ to finish that list off....would probably start another one to boot!

TN also has an "anywhere degree" program called RODP (Regents Online Degree Program). If you are taking college courses or returning after a number of years away from it, I would NOT recommend this option. It is for folks who are VERY comfortable learning online and are extremely well-disciplined and don't need F2F contact with an instructor to keep "on track". Just IMHO...... PM me if you'd like more details. I'm an instructor at a CC in East TN so I can get you other info if you'd like as well.

It's not in TN, but Bud's up in KY offers you a deal where it's basically through GE Money but it's 6 msac, 12 msac, depending on how much you spend. It is a brand new cc, though......how I got my last two friends.....
