I was delayed in the gas station this evening by a guy trying to sell back his carton of Winstons because "there was something wrong with them." He informed her that he had been smoking for 40 years and that there was something not right about these cigarettes. The clerk told him that they were fire safe cigarettes. As I have not not smoked in 18 months, this does not directly affect me, however, I found it kind of fascinating that there is such a large problem with accidental fires that legislation is required to save people from themselves. Maybe any firefighters can chime in here.
