    Ugly Glock?

That OD isn't half bad looking, but I could do without the front sight.
  2. I never really understood the Zing. Whats with the rippled blade? I'd go with the Leek, although I don't really like the blade shape. Look at the Skyline. Gerber also makes some nice inexpensive folders imo. I have a Tanto Evo and a Crusader and you can't beat them for under $20 each.
  3. I may have to break out the icicles this year too. I think I put them up the first year we bought our house and that was it. Plus, now I've got a GFI on the front of the house!
  4. Didn't like the orange stock grips on the RIA 1911 so I sanded them down to reveal some good looking wood. My brother the finish wizard did the rest. . .
  5. Picked up this Kershaw Skyline. It's a bit smaller than my recent EDC, Spyderco Tenacious, but there is something sleek about the design. It lacks serrations, which I usually prefer to have, but is razor sharp out of the box. The G10 handles have a "small grit" feel that I like and the "flipper" design is smooth and quick for one handed opening. Great for a smaller, light weight EDC knife or back up blade. Nice knife for $30. Kershaw continues to impress me. . . .
  6. A Zero Tolerance knife is at the top of list of things to buy when I win the lottery. Handled a few at SMKW last summer, like you said they are tanks!
  7. I've been carrying one for a few months now and have used it pretty heavily. It has become my go to knife for EDC.
  8. Dang, wish I could have stopped. Would have liked to get a chance to hold an CRKT M16.
  9. +1 for a relevant answer. Wish I had time to stop in on our way back from Atlanta, but that u-turn in Ooltewah was looming and all....... Cherokee, I appreciate the suggestion. I do. I would be interested in a discussion regarding Frost quality. Anybody have experience with Frost knives?
  10. Last I checked Ooltewah ain't between Chattanooga and Atlanta.
  11. Who's got the best knife selection between Chattanooga and Atlanta?
  12. WOW. Very nice, sir! MLCS Woodworking Could have done without that one.
  13. The bearing rides on the edge of the wood. The bearings can be changed to change depth of cut.
  14. Jamie is right. Though it depends on what exactly you wanna do. If you are cutting dados for shelves, then a jig would help. Any edge detail bits should come with bearings.
  15. All great ideas. Thanks Sgt. Joe!
  16. With permission, I'd be happy to. These cater to a certain crowd for sure.
