  1. Well, originally I would have thought yes, but the gun cuts have just not sold well.
  2. Oh yeah. Id just need a picture, a size, and an idea of what you wanna do with it. We could put it on a shepards hook or something too.
  3. For those that don't know, I'm involved in cutting steel with my father-in-law. (Like these) Some members have already received cuts from us. I thought it would be interesting to pick the brains of TGO members and see if anyone had some new ideas for designs. Keep in mind, these cuts can be cut up to 4' x 8' so size isn't really a factor and once they've been powder coated, they can go outside no problem.
  4. Grain Surgeons. We pwn wood.
  5. G27 all the way.
  6. Stock came with some great embossed scars and scratches courtesy of VERO1. Scuffed top coat Applied dark wiping stain Applied vinyl sealer tinted black (to highlight scars) Sand off excess black sealer Top Coat This is more or less the method. Most of the credit goes to my genius of a brother who is a finishing wizard. It really should have gotten a dull top coat, but I didn't have any. I found a great article online somewhere for doing just this thing, but I went with the methods/tools available to me at the cabinet shop.
  7. My intention was to recreate the dark, black scars of the old war rifles. Thanks to VERO1 for the sweet stock. Hard as heck to take a picture of. - - - - -
  8. Congratulations, Sir!
  9. I would get the ESEE. I have really been wanting one.
  10. Welcome back, Sir. Sorry about your loss.
  11. Heck yeah. My favorite ringtone I've had to date. ......Otacon........
  12. I wanted the Blur until I held one. I didn't like the way if felt. I did get the Kershaw Ken onion Mini Cyclone and love it. Amazon.com: Kershaw Mini Cyclone Serrated Knife: Sports & Outdoors
  13. My name is Tyler and this is me on Cocoa Beach, Florida
  14. I had this issue earlier. I went to options and unchecked "block reported attack sites". Curious.
  15. If you've been wondering how you would ever hack your way into a moose carcass to sleep like I have, the answer is here. This item will be released on November 15, 2010.Amazon.com: Gerber 31-000751 Bear Grylls Survival Series Ultimate Knife, Serrated Edge: Home Improvement
  16. Might I also suggest the Cold Steel "Special Projects" catalog.
  17. Interesting looking knife. Kershaw is good stuff.
  18. Regretted not buying this knife after handling it at SMKW last weekend. So I ordered one online. The G10 handle is nice though not as rough as the Cold Steel Recon, which is like sandpaper IMO. I really dig the trademark "thumb hole". It feels natural to open the blade that way. The pocket clip has four positions and is a little stiff, but I'm sure it'll loosen up. The size is perfect for EDC and feels great in my hand. The serrations are pretty ferocious but not to a fault. This is Spyderco's "$40 price range" knife but it feels like a good one to me.
  19. I was wondering that too. I'm not knowledgeable about these things. Maybe it wasn't his.
  20. Great. Thank you. This was among some of my grandfathers belongings. He was in the marines.
  21. Obviously some kind of military metal right?
  22. I've gone over my "what I'll say if I get pulled over" speech a million times. I hope it comes out sounding as good as it does in my head.
  23. Thanks for the review. It takes a good one to get me to the theaters. May have to go see it.
  24. You sir.....are a genius! Thanks. You just gave me another way to completely drain my phone battery.
  25. This knife is on the top of my list right now, but I will be getting the "Mini" for EDC. Jealous. Let us know how it feels.
