  1. I'm no legal eagle, but it's my understanding that as long as the knife is not "auto" (opening with only the manipulation of a mechanism not on the blade) and the blade is not over 4", you are fine. That being said, obviously there are some places (like a courthouse) where even pocketknives are prohibited. I'm sure some of our more legal savvy friends will be along with exact wording and fancy things like that.
  2. I tried to use mine at the courthouse last week only because I needed TWO forms of i.d. The clerk then told me "we can't count that because its in the same system as the DL. Other than that, keep it on the LOW.
  3. Phil told me that the checkered grips were a total fluke on the part of somebody @ Armscor and were never meant to be. Kinda wish mine had them though. Edit: Took care of factory grips.
  4. I wasn't gonna post it but since you did....
  5. My dad wanted one of these really bad, but we kept seeing bad reviews. Instead he got a Bersa Thunder 380 "Plus" which you would be hard-pressed to find a bad review of. Also, the "Plus" is cool because it has a double stack magazine and holds, I think ,15 rounds.
  6. Agreed. Phil was a great guy to deal with. Friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I only wish his store was closer.
  7. Stay gold, Ponyboy.
  8. TOMBSTONE. YouTube - Tombstone Bitch Slap
  9. I have family in Gulf Shores on vacation reporting the same thing.
  10. Had my Evo engraved today as a sample at the local trophy shop. It engraves lighlty in the hard steel of the blade, but still looks good I think.
  11. The style and size seem right.
  12. I have no knowledge to offer, but these are very cool.
  13. Say you would like to buy an item on Gunbroker, but you do not want to sign up or "put a credit card on file". What to do? Is it unlikely that a local dealer will purchase it for you (paid in advance) if they would be doing the transfer anyway?
  14. That one is scary. Wait a minute, I recognize that photo.....
  15. Very Cool. Now let's see it done with another picture to send subliminal messages.
  16. I thought this was cool. Bullett Hitch Cover
  17. Second!
  18. Picked this knife up today. Kershaw Mini Cyclone 1635ST. I like it a lot. The spring assist is sweet. The only thing I would like to do is possibly add some grip tape to one side of the handle, just a thin strip down the middle. Can anybody recommend somewhere I can get some? Kershaw Mini Cyclone Serrated 1635ST
  19. Doors just opened and all my $ is already spent.
  20. Just a reminder to come check us out this weekend at Camp Jordan.
  21. Get a DROID. I browse TGO with full capabilities. If you gotta go barebones what's the point? -sent from my kicka$$ Droid.
  22. I was really excited when I found this at Smoky Mountain Knife Works and its a cool little knife, but I think its design does not lend itself to everyday us. In fact, I've hardly ever used it. It does fit the bill for a great backup knife. At around $45, I hate I don't use it more. With a less rigid sheath, it would make a great boot knife.
  23. I'd be happy to, but they will be subject to availability depending on what's left after the show. I encourage anybody who can to come and see them in person. The pictures don't do them justice.
  24. Chattanooga - Camp Jordan - May 29-30, 2010 Well guys, my father-in-law and I have decided to setup camp @ the gun show this weekend with some new steel designs. So, if you were considering letting this show slide by, come by and check us out. All the pieces are 12ga steel (1/8") with a very durable powder coating. I hope to bring something different to this show to change the scenery a bit, while selling something I would want to buy. So if you are in the area, come support a fellow TGOer and introduce yourself. I guarantee we'll be selling the least expensive guns at the gun show. (Thanks to TGO David for approving this message)
