  1. Two advil, a generous amount of coffee, and a big breakfast of bacon and eggs.
  2. The Taurus 738 isn't' a bad option either. I do like that it locks open on the last round.

    Short List

Ruger Mk III Marlin 1895 SBL Bolt action in .308 Winchester or 30-06 Springfield for hunting 18" AR, probably a Larue Stealth upper and a lower I'll build on my own.
  4. The Taurus Judge is their model that will either shoot .410 shells or .45 Long Colt. It is a big clunker of a weapon and .410 is a very poor choice for self defense. The gun is designed to shoot either and will not explode in your hands using .410 shells. There are also some derringer type pistols that will shoot either .410 or .45 LC. Note that .45 Long Colt (revolver cartridge) and .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) are not the same thing.
  5. Buca is awesome, love their Tiramisu and lasagna. Maggiano's is awesome too, a little pricey though.
  6. Yeah their prices are high. I wouldn't drive past Hero Gear to visit them.
  7. I don't shoot many revolvers, so I'm guilty of doing the same thing. I prefer to have the slide lock open on the last round .
  8. The USPS will ship a firearm between two FFLs. I had to ship my 1911 back to Springfield Armory, they sent me a FedEx overnight shipping label. They covered shipping both ways and replaced the barrel and bushing.
  9. My low pressure side was entirely too high. My compressor belt broke, it was a $25 fix.
  10. Maybe ask at the CMP forum? M1 Carbine - CMP Forums
  11. I guess he could work in Hot Topic.

    M1 Garand from CMP

Yeah, that would help. I prefer driving down to pick one up. You get to look them over and check them for muzzle wear and throat erosion. Mine has a nearly new barrel and is in superb overall shape.
  13. I blame the media for that. Glad to hear Jarhead is fine out there. I was worried about him with it being so hot out.
  14. Yep, all of mine are defective too. Even my AR-15 and AK-74 still haven't wandered off on their own and shot up a school. I've been meaning to take them to a gunsmith but just haven't gotten around to it.
  15. Tactical reload?
  16. Not sure I would have wanted to see the aftermath of something like that...
  17. Buy the G19 and have two reliable handguns.
  18. Meh, I canceled my preorder.
  19. Jeff at G&L did mine for free with a hammer and punch.

    hey!

Welcome! Don't believe anything you've seen on TV or in a video game and you'll be alright .
  21. I have an Arsenal SGL31, which is a professionally converted Saiga in 5.45x39. It's definitely a quality firearm and 5.45 is cheap to shoot.
  22. That's great! Are the people that come up with that stuff just giant bull****ters or are they truly insane?

    SouthSide Range

I was planning on going Sunday.
  24. 1. Fill out an ATF Form 1 to manufacture a new machine gun. 2. Get denied 3. File a lawsuit 4. Profit
  25. They're fun to shoot and ammo is cheap. Get your Type 03 Curio and Relics FFL and you can have it sent directly to your door! Only costs $30. Mine took 90 days to process.
