  1. Thanks. Im gonna get it as close as I can without worrying too much about it.
  2. Title pretty much says it all. I have a gray Winchester safe from TSC that has a corner on the bottom that needs to be re-painted. Color and texture matching is not high on the priority list. My main concern is what type of paint would yall use? I'm guessing oil-based? Seems like latex paint would just peel right off after drying.
  3. price lowered to $650 picked up The crossbow alone was $1200 in 2019. Considering the extras, this is a great deal for somebody! Bow season is almost upon us...
  4. TTT Price lowered to $700 I know somebody is wanting this for the upcoming season!
  5. Up for sale is my Excalibur Micro Suppressor I bought brand new in 2019. I dont know an exact shot count, but it is under 75. This crossbow was kind of an impulse buy for me. I bought it, played with it for a few months, and haven’t touched it since. It has only ever been on two hunts. It could stand a new string (~$30-40 last time I looked). This is a complete ready-to-hunt package: sighted in and ready to go. Included with the sale is the Excalibur soft case, the crossbow, a total of 9 bolts (all Excalibur Quills), field points, cocking device, and broadheads. I still have all original paperwork as well. This is a premium crossbow with the added benefit of the simple recurve design. It is very accurate. It shoots hard, fast, and quiet. Sorry in advance for the crappy pictures. A crossbow is an awkward thing to try to get good pictures of. The price is $750 for the package. Must meet me in the Chattanooga Hamilton/Marion county area. I will throw in a crossbow target with the sale. Again, this is a complete, ready to hunt/shoot package.
  6. Well the title says it all, I have majorly outgrown my safe and it's time to upgrade. I currently have the 24 or 26 gun (can't remember exact) Winchester safe from TSC. I'm looking at upgrading to a 50+ gun safe. I am the type of person that worries and big purchases like this always give me anxiety. So help me out, if you all were in my shoes, and had up to 2k to spend what would you get? I wish I had the extra 1k or so to get a nice liberty fatboy jr or something of the like, but it just isn't in the cards: 2k is my max.
  7. It really is. I couldnt be any happier with it. Such a fun little shooter!
  8. It was a special Christmas for my son this year. He is 5 and "Santa" brought him his first real gun. Of course it had to be a KSA Crickett: black synthetic stock with stainless barrel. His eyes and face when he saw it were priceless on Christmas morning, so Santa did good! Here is a quick shot of us shooting it for the first time the other day. We went through a couple hundred rounds and had a blast. Hope all you folks had a great holiday season!
  9. If anybody could tell me how to close the ad, that'd be helpful.
  10. Hey all. Just logged on after not being on for a few days. I ended up purchasing a new Vortex Diamondback 4-12x. I appreciate all the offers.
  11. This rifle will be used to hunt with, so something in the 3-10, or 4-12 range would be ideal. Thanks.
  12. I am in the market for an optic for my 308 AR platform rifle. Mostly interested in lower to mid-level magnification riflescopes. Thought I would check here before buying new. Thanks.
  13. So lets assume the floor joists are indeed perpendicular to the exterior wall and they are at least a 2x10, which Im pretty sure they are.
  14. Thanks for the input. One is a 26 gun Winchester (the one TSC sells) and the other is an older 30-32 gun Remington safe that is a lil more heavy than the Winchester
  15. Good point on which way the joists run. Id have to re-check, but I was under there a couple years ago and if my memory serves me right the floor joists run perpendicular to the exterior wall, not parallel. I am working with a crawl space, so ultimately yeah I could get under there to do some bracing if need be. FWIW the house was built in 06.
  16. Ok, since my brain makes me overthink things way too much, Im here for some reassurance. Would you all feel comfortable with this setup (see crudely drawn picture below lol). Two gun safes (both approximately 30 gun size) in one room in opposite corners along an exterior wall of about 11.5 ft in length, with NO floor reinforcements? Im hoping that since they would be along an exterior wall that the floor joists sitting on the block foundation of my house will be sufficient enough to hold the weight of both safes with no sagging or ill effect on the long term. Thoughts?
  17. Yep we have determined it is more than likely a log perch
  18. A buddy caught this fishing in a new river spot yesterday. We have never seen or caught one before and just wondering what it is? How common are they? Thanks in advance.
  19. I am by no means a stranger to building my own rifles. Ive got two SBR’s I built from the ground up, and two standard AR platform rifles as well. That being said I have never built an AR 10 and was actually completely unaware about the potential for tolerance differences, part compatibility, etc. So thanks for bringing that up Garufa! I learnt somethin today!
  20. Wonder what the weight on that bad boy is? Lol. Nutnfancy seems to really dig the S&W M&P 10. He gave it a great review, watched it yesterday. The Sport version rings in at around $850. Not too bad..
  21. Thanks for your input! Id love to have a Sig 716, but as you suggested it is just more than I can swing right now.
  22. I still havent shot the Marlin 35 I bought from you!
  23. Building is definitely an option as well, just havent looked in a lot of places besides PSA yet.
