  1. Anyone know of an inexpensive place to pick up a quality AR 15 mil spec carry handle? I was looking at some at the show this weekend and some of them really are junk. I am wanting one with windage and elevation adjustments.
  2. The order has already been placed. Been waiting for a while to do that. The buyer was really pleased.
  3. Sharp looking!
  4. Thanks for all the help. Managed to sell it today and was confident that I was in the right price range.
  5. Thanks for this qoute. I do remember a few of my friends have some holsters from Sparks and they take a while to get, but they are worth it! Just read the linnk, too. Great info.
  6. Is there one type of leather over another to use when making a holster? I know some have a lot of salt in them to preserve the leather and can potentially make the gun rot.
  7. I call some of my family members that are out of the country and it's free. I also podcast with my cohost who is in GA. We talk over Skype and record each end. There are a few cool things to do with it with conferencing as well. You can do video with it for free as well.
  8. Can you hide Milton's stapler in there? Yeahh...we need you to work next Saturday.
  9. There are no XXXXX's over the S#. The info about the bayonet is interesting. I have AR 15 fever and that's the only reason I'm selling this. I know this one is climbing in value as well. Can't raid cashflow for guns, though. I have mouths to feed and the toys come from things I already have.
  10. Yours is in really great shape. I wish I could get the right light for my pics.
  11. The mark is not filled in, just the flash picking it up. The bayonet is matte.
  12. This is the worse of the two sides. The big white spot is the quality control stamp, though. The other side is great. This picture makes the finish look rougher than it really is. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r205/deafdogdief/058.jpg
  13. Pics, pics, pics. Where are they?!
  14. It's close, but not quite as good as yours. The stock on mine has some dings on it. I can try to post some pics here if I can figure out how.
  15. Thanks so much!
  16. If they're not selling to us, their ammo is going to get delivered from the business end of a gun to our tropps. It already is to some extent and now they'll sell more of it to countries that we are in.
  17. .
  18. The one I have is in about 90% condition and has the cleaning kit, bayonet, sling, cleaning rod, acceptance mark on the stock, 1954 Tula and I want to take it to the gun show this weekend and sell it for cash for an AR. Does this help a little more for a more accurate value? Not refinished. Numbers match.
  19. What price range is a good condition Russian SKS with acceptance stamps going for now?
  20. DELETE
  21. +1 Epic.
  22. Are you serious?!!
  23. The contact point for the trigger mechanism to slide is an important lube spot. Make sure you get that with some oil. That may change the feel a little. The other thing is that this is the only pistol I know that charges the striker and then fires with the pull of the trigger. Most other guns just release the striker or firing pin (dependant on gun) with the trigger pull. This can contribute to that odd feeling.
  24. BTW, if you have a gold coin are you going to cut a chunk out of it to buy a chicken from your neighbor like on Little House on the Prairie? How do you know how much you're giving them?
