Can we start having a TGO specific squad? I shot last time with some TGO'ers and didn't even know it. My guess is most of the group are TGO'ers though.

It seems the DHS has forgotten that the average ordinary citizen is capable of shooting bad guys should the need arise. Should read at the top "Carry a firearm and learn how to use it or follow instructions below."

I Like her and her politics. Any negative view anybody has gotten of her was from CNN or MSNBC. Congrats to the liberal media for being able to impact some of the more inteligent people on the net. Her show was not renewed because she will most likely run for president. I'm glad she did the show to show people what she and her family are really like. I'm glad she let America see her from someone's eyes besides CNN. Palin is closer to my political views than anybody in recent years. I don't understand her being attacked from the right. It baffles me.

Looking at the title I thought there was a punch line to a joke that started with someone walking in to a bar. Glad to hear at least one political figure has an ounce of sense.

He keeps talking about procedurals and misses, but I was 5th for accuracy with no procedurals in my first match in almost a year. If you practice real hard and want it bad enough.....maybe....just maybe you can beat me one of these days. It hasn't happened yet though just for the record.

The sore finger is likely from the Glock compact trigger. It is not smooth, but sort of steps down from the center. That was always the first changes I made to the trigger. It has something to do with being shipped in and the points system for foreign guns. Also, Glock is the only gun that I shoot from the crook of the top knuckle on my index finger. Just feels more comfortable to me and yes, I know it's not the proper method but works for me. Glock stopped putting the adjustable sights on their factory models, but the sights can be had for cheap. I prefer the standard sights, but have a 34 and 35 and have not changed sights on either.

I found a YHM front BUIS for $80. Pretty sure it was retail, but tired of procrastinating. Picked up 4 window Pmags for $15 each.

I think some TGO attornies can speak to this, but seems like it might give a civil case some backbone if you carry a different gun than you qulified with. I obviously am not that worried since I never requaled with a .40 and got the permit with a 9mm.

Reporting it stolen may cause some problems for her down the road. If she wants to sell it, etc. There is no greater risk to come back on you than if you had given her the gun. Reporting it stolen will likely not get it back. Next time your in the game take a screen shot of the threat and send her an email wih the pic included. Threaten to turn that over to authorities if she doesn't return the gun. If it doesn't work, move on. It's less than $300 and not worth the emotional effort IMO. Authorities will not take the threat serious, because they have to do too much IP investigating to even verify her identity.

Why would she need a bill of sale? Does MS require a BOS to resell a gun or to possess it?

I would call that a good deal for all. He got a shooter and you got a nice piece.

I took my permit class at Range USA in 2000 and they did record the pistol I shot for the HCP. I went with my wife when she got hers in 2003 and again this year after her first permit expired. Both of the other shops were in Middle TN and did not record the gun she fired. Either the law changed about them recording it or Range USA was trying to convince people that it matters to up sell the requal class.
